According to a comprehensive ** report, Change Healthcare was attacked by hackers last Wednesday (February 28) and took away valuable data, resulting in the department's inability to operate for nearly 1 week, affecting 1/3 of the patient's data and back-office systems in the United States, and the world's U.S. military hospitals were also affected.
The latest report from Reuters pointed out that a recent article on the hacker forum said that in order to solve the hacker invasion and extortion incident, UnitedHealth Group has paid a Bitcoin ransom equivalent to $22 million to a hacker group called BlackCat.
