Restoring iPhone with iTunes is a relatively straightforward process, but it should be noted that this process will erase all data and settings on your iPhone and restore it to the latest iOS software version. Before you start, make sure that you have backed up your iPhone data to avoid the loss of important information. Here are the steps to restore your iPhone using iTunes:

Install the latest version of iTunes: Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed on your computer. If you are using macOS Catalina or later, you can go through the recovery process directly through Finder.

Back up your iPhone(If possible): Back up your iPhone via iTunes or iCloud in case of data loss.

Turn off Find My iPhone: On your device, go to Settings >your name] > look for "> Find My iPhone" and turn off "Find My iPhone".

Connect your iPhone to the computer: Connect your iPhone to your computer using a data cable.

Open iTunes: If you're using macOS Catalina or later, open Finder.

Select your device: In iTunes, tap the device icon in the top left corner of the screen to select your iPhone. In the Finder, select your device to appear in the sidebar.

Enter recovery mode

For iPhone 8 or later: Quickly press and release the Volume Plus button, then quickly press and release the Volume Down button, then press and hold the side button until you see the recovery mode screen.

For iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus: Press and hold the volume down button and the side button at the same time until you see the recovery mode screen.

For iPhone 6S and earlier: Press and hold the Home button and the top (or side) button at the same time until you see the recovery mode screen.

Restore your iPhone: In iTunes or Finder, a dialog box will appear for you to choose "Update" or "Restore". Click "Restore" to restore your iPhone. iTunes will ** the software and start the recovery process.

Wait for the recovery process to complete: This process may take some time. Once it is done, the iPhone will restart.

Device settings: Once the restore is complete, you can set up your iPhone like a new device, or restore data from a previous backup.

Please note that during the recovery process, do not disconnect your iPhone from your computer until the whole process is completely completed. If you run into any issues during the recovery process, make sure to check your internet connection and try restarting your iPhone and computer to make another attempt.
