Improve productivity, reliability, and profitability with a collaborative manufacturing solution for communication modules.

Profinet to EtherCAT gateway communication collaborative manufacturing solution, enterprises change the manufacturing process of equipment connection, configuration and transmission between different equipment, development and connection, to achieve improvement and optimization of the production process, which is conducive to parallel development of collaborative processes between equipment, reuse of manufacturing knowledge, optimize production, design efficient and safe human operation processes, and achieve efficient operation of productivity.

Implementing comprehensive access to accurate data has long been a challenge for production equipment manufacturers. The diverse configuration of the multiprotocol communication module of Industrial Ethernet contributes to the engineering and manufacturing information of the production line.

The Profinet to EtherCAT gateway converts the Profinet protocol into the EtherCAT protocol for data exchange between devices.

The Bryant inverter is connected to the Siemens PLC1200 via an EtherCAT to Profinet gateway and is configured as follows.

1. Add the gateway GSD

2. Find the gateway module for configuration.

3. Set the IP address and device name of the gateway.

4. Configure the length of the number of input and output bytes.

5. Configure to PLC

6. Open the EtherCAT configuration software.

7. Select PN2ECAT master for the new project.

8. The IP address and device name of the configuration software are consistent with the configuration of Botu.

9. Import the slave device ESI, and select the required slave.

10. Set the parameters of the Kobe inverter.

11. Take rx-pdds as an indication to indicate which data to use, which data needs to be selected in green.

12. After the configuration is completed, proceed to the connection steps.

13. Click Pre-run and then Run to power the gateway again.

14. The corresponding I and Q addresses can be read and written.

By following the above steps, combined with the necessary commissioning and testing, you can successfully set up and deploy a running PROFINET-to-EtherCAT gateway for an efficient and reliable communication connection.
