This winter, "Erbin" is on fire, and colorful ice lanterns light up the night sky of the city. While the tourism industry in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province is booming, the city's electricity consumption has also increased significantly. According to the relevant data released by the State Grid, during the Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival, the city's cultural and tourism consumption electricity consumption reached 28.6 billion kWh, a year-on-year increase of 4183%。In the face of the peak electricity consumption in Harbin, power companies have made every effort to organize production to ensure the safety and stability of electricity**.

The reporter set off from Harbin urban area, all the way to the east, after an hour's drive, arrived at the Three Gorges Energy Acheng Wanxing Wind Farm (hereinafter referred to as "Wanxing Wind Farm") located in Liudian Street, Acheng District, Harbin City.
Since the fourth quarter of last year, Wanxing Wind Farm has delivered about 1 percent of green electricity to Harbin800 million kilowatt hours, with the wind of Acheng lit up the lights of "Erbin".

Walking into the central control room of Wanxing Wind Farm, the reporter saw that more than ten computer screens were lined up, and various real-time data related to power production were displayed on the screens. Among them, the wind power ** system is one of the platforms that the duty personnel of Wanxing Wind Farm focus on. "This is the wind intensity distribution curve for each period of today, and from the current point of view, the wind will start to weaken from 2 p.m. and gradually reach today's minimum. The day's watchman pointed to the screen and said, "These curves can give us a reference and help us decide how to use wind energy more efficiently." ”

During the critical period of ensuring supply during the Spring Festival, in order to ensure the healthy and efficient operation of the 50 wind turbines of the power station, at 1 o'clock in the afternoon, the operation and maintenance personnel who had just finished lunch set off and started the special inspection work. "The farthest wind turbine is 20 kilometers away from the booster station, and the road is slippery in snow, and it takes nearly an hour to drive each way. We had to arrive at the job site before 2 o'clock and start the shutdown and maintenance work during the window when the wind was at its lowest. Li Xianwei, the station shift leader, said.
The 50 wind turbines of the Wanxing Wind Farm are spread over more than 140 square kilometers of land. After a heavy snowfall, the whole station is like a thick quilt. The snow is picturesque, but the workload at the power station is multiplied. "I looked everywhere, I walked out of the gate of the booster station, and when I stepped out, I didn't know whether it was a road or a ditch under my feet. Li Xianwei said.

Clearing snow from the roads in the field is the first thing to do after a heavy snowfall. The snow removal shovel groped forward, and it took two or three days to clear more than 50 kilometers of field roads.

Fighting snow and cold waves, ensuring supply and brightness" is a phrase often said by employees of Wanxing Wind Farm. On the way to maintenance, Li Xianwei told a "story" that had just happened: after a heavy snowfall, a transformer sounded an alarm due to lack of oil. O&M personnel quickly rushed to the scene to deal with it, but because the snow was too thick, the vehicle could not continue to move about 1 km away from the transformer, and the O&M personnel had to walk there. Two employees lifted a 100-kilogram bucket of transformer oil, stepped on knee-deep snow, and walked for a full hour.

Lean operation and maintenance and the work spirit of not being afraid of hardships have made Wanxing Wind Farm deliver a satisfactory "answer sheet" for supply guarantee this winter. Since entering the guarantee of supply in December 2023, Wanxing Wind Farm has delivered a total of 14.6 billion kWh. On January 24, Wanxing Wind Farm set a new record of 4.63 million kWh of power generation in a single day, close to the power station's 4.8 million kWh of full power generation in a single day.
At half past four in the afternoon, it was getting dark in the northeast in winter. Li Xianwei and his colleagues have been working outdoors at minus 30 degrees Celsius for two and a half hours to complete the maintenance of six wind turbines.
On the return journey after the inspection, the vehicle passed through a tunzi. In the tunzi, wisps of cooking smoke have already risen. Looking at the little lights outside the car window, Li Xianwei thought of his family.
Although I am also homesick, but thinking of the hard work of me alone, warm thousands of families, I think this is the greatest meaning of our work as a power producer. Li Xianwei said.
