After the five elements are accurately represented by the heavenly stems and earthly branches, they accurately represent the cold and hot changes of the earth's revolution and rotation, and concisely reflect the law of its motion changes. "Wood" has the physical properties of germination and striping; "Fire" has the characteristics of fiery and upward; "Soil" has the characteristics of long-term cultivation and chemical cultivation; "Gold" has the characteristics of quietness and killing; Water has cold, downward properties. These characteristics are all extended expressions of yin and yang.
