In order to do a good job in the 14th National Winter Games (hereinafter referred to as the "14th Winter") event guarantee work, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Nuclear and Radiation Monitoring Center (hereinafter referred to as the Center) attaches great importance to the radiation safety and security work as the primary task, and formulates the "14th National Winter Games Radiation Safety and Security Work Measures" to refine the "14th Winter" before and during the radiation environment safety and security work. During the event, 24 monitoring personnel were dispatched to complete the monitoring of the background level of the radiation environment in Hailar District of Hulunbuir City, Zhalantun City, Karaqin Banner of Chifeng City, and Liangcheng County of Ulanchabu City, with more than 4,000 monitoring points, providing detailed background data for the radiation safety guarantee work of the "14th Winter".
During the "14th Winter" event, the center issued the "Notice on Doing a Good Job in Radiation Emergency Preparedness Duty During the 14th National Winter Games", continued to carry out emergency duty on the nuclear and radiation emergency monitoring and dispatching platform of the autonomous region, and sent one team of radiation safety emergency response teams to each of the three competition areas of Hailar, Zhalantun and Liangcheng to provide on-site preparedness and support. During the mission support period, the staff overcame many difficulties such as cold weather and heavy monitoring workload, carried forward the spirit of the iron army of "being able to endure hardships, fight, and dedication", and stationed at the stadium to prepare for duty during the Spring Festival holiday, and successfully completed various support tasks.
