DHL Supply Chain, a global leader in contract logistics, has announced a partnership with Robust., a cutting-edge robotics companyAI forges new partnerships to develop and deploy innovative fleet of warehouse robots. The strategic alliance leverages DHL Supply Chain's deep understanding of logistics challenges, proven track record in implementing automation solutions, and RobustAI's expertise in artificial intelligence and advanced robotics. The two companies will initially focus on piloting and deploying "carter," a collaborative mobile robot that provides flexible warehouse material handling automation.

Sally Miller, Chief Information Officer and Global Digital Transformation Officer at DHL Chain, said: "At DHL Chain, we continue to push the boundaries of what's possible in logistics. With Robust., a pioneer in the field of artificial intelligence roboticsAI collaboration, allowing us to continue to redefine what's possible within the four walls of the warehouse. This partnership will help us create a smarter, safer, and more reliable ** chain, one intelligent robot at a time. ”

DHL Chain is an incredible partner. As an industry leader, their analytics and logistics expertise is unmatched, helping us refine our product workflows and artificial intelligence. ”robust.Anthony Jules, CEO and co-founder of AI, said. "By working together, our team has demonstrated a significant increase in warehouse productivity. DHL Supply Chain and RobustAI shares a shared vision of putting people first. In robustAI, we build robots and artificial intelligence to augment and empower workers, and we're excited to have a large-scale partner that shares our commitment to combining increased efficiency with an improved employee experience. ”

Pilot work on Carter is underway at the DHL Chain warehouse, with initial deployment scheduled for later this year. The robot will be able to handle a wide range of tasks, starting with optimizing the picking process. Leveraging AI technology, Carter will increase efficiency as the solution learns and adapts to real-time warehouse conditions, optimizing workflows and maximizing productivity. Carter's embedded sensors and AI capabilities will also generate valuable data to optimize warehouse layout, staffing, and inventory management.

Carter will join DHL's list of robust robotic solutions, which include robotic arms developed for truck carton unloading, automated guided vehicles such as autonomous forklifts, and a variety of autonomous mobile robots that assist in picking and moving cartons around warehouses.
