Due to the conductivity and capacitive properties of the medium, a current field is formed inside the medium. The voltage ratio generated by this current field is proportional to the length of the probe immersion. Since only the voltage ratio is considered in the measurement, the characteristics of the medium, especially the conductivity, have no influence on the measurement results. With the help of a ZL secondary measurement system, the sensor also provides information about the immersion of the electric rod in the medium. This system analyzes the electrical resonance characteristics to detect foam and performs it in the measurement results, thus preventing measurement errors caused by sticky substances.
