Vuzix, a leading provider of smart glasses and AR technology and products, announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Moviynt, a provider of SAP certified ERP SaaS logistics solutions, will showcase the artificial intelligence and machine learning technology on Vuzix AR smart glasses at Modex 2024, which will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center from March 11-14.

Modex 2024 will bring together the entire chain ecosystem, with more than 1,175 leading manufacturing and chain vendors showcasing end-to-end solutions. Moviynt has pioneered the integration of wearable technology solutions, such as Mobilium Edge, a mobile workforce app for smart devices, and Vuzix AR smart glasses to bring hands-free efficiency to warehousing and logistics.

At Modex 2024, Moviynt will showcase the AI and machine learning capabilities of its solution with an SAP back-end material handling demo that leverages Vuzix smart glasses to capture images and process them locally in real-time using AI and machine learning algorithms, providing near-instant feedback and intelligence to individual parcel handlers in less than a second response time.

Ideal for industries such as high-throughput facilities such as postal and third-party logistics, the solution is said to reduce workload without distracting users by providing information in the Vuzix smart glasses' head-up display that allows information to be checked in real-time for individual sorted packages.

"Designed for the digital age, our solutions help accelerate business transformation by giving frontline workers the tools to connect them to SAP and other ERP systems without getting in the way of what they need to do," said Philip Matkovsky, CEO of Moviynt. Our solutions are tailored to run on Vuzix smart glasses, as well as other wearable and handheld devices, providing users with artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities that further empower employees to do their jobs. ”
