Among the episodes broadcast this year, "Dog Leftover Run" is quite special. The play chooses to abandon the classic grand narrative technique of the Anti-Japanese War drama and takes the comedy style as its innovation point, but it does not humorize the main theme of the anti-Japanese salvation, nor does it fall into the blind expression of the pathos of the little people, but focuses on the growth experience and spiritual transformation of the young people in Guide County such as Gou Yu, Tao'er, and Yang San after gradually participating in the Anti-Japanese War and salvation, and portrays the plump image of Chinese young people who dare to think and act when the nation is in crisis.
The play has an in-depth understanding of the spontaneous and external forces that affect the pursuit of young people's life values, and also provides a useful mirror for how to correctly guide and cultivate young people in the new era.
Two "escapes": a triple quest for the value of young people's lives.
As the title of the play suggests, the word "run" runs throughout the play. The protagonist Gouyu's experience of enlisting in the army three times and "escaping" twice has also become the key to the plot narrative. At the beginning of the story, the protagonist Gou Yu and his adoptive father's daughter Xing'er have feelings for each other. Faced with the dilemma of Wang Mao, the son of his stupid adoptive father, who was mistakenly conscripted into the army, and in order to complete the gambling contract with his adoptive father that "you can marry an apricot by building three large tile houses", Gou Yu resolutely replaced Wang Mao with the enlistment fee of four oceans and became a member of the National Revolutionary Army.
During the first head-on clash with the Japanese, the brand-new detachment fell into a panic. In the comrades-in-arms shouted one after another, "Wang Mao, run!" Looking at the non-stop muzzles of the enemy's guns and the comrades who kept falling to the ground around him, Gouyu's eyes burned with anger and determination at the same time, and he killed an enemy machine gunner with only three bullets. But then more intense artillery fire swept in, and the lonely dog suddenly realized his powerlessness in the face of war at this time. After surviving with a fake death, he fell into the confusion of "drawing his sword and looking around", which prompted him to choose the first "escape". For the rest of his life, Gou Yu did not return to the team, but embarked on a journey home, "Life is precious", this is his first answer to the value of life.
After receiving a total of eight oceans of enlistment fees and "pensions", Gou Yu realized that enlisting in the army might be some kind of shortcut to build "three big tiled houses". As a result, he "came back to life" and once again became a member of the National Revolutionary Army. Faced with the practical dilemma that their army was about to be reformed into a puppet army, Tang Yulong, Tao'er, Gu Liang and others were unwilling to passively become traitors, and decided to plan to "escape" and go to Dangshan to join the New Fourth Army. At this time, although Gou Yu was unwilling to serve the Japanese invaders, he refused the invitation of Tang, Tao and others to go to Dangshan together. After performing a wonderful strategy of "diverting the tiger from the mountain" and leading everyone to successfully get out of trouble and "escape", the dog left quietly again in the gallop. After returning home, Gou Yu said to Xing'er: "I'm not afraid of death, I'm afraid I won't see you", "Love is more expensive", this is his second answer to the value of life.
Constrained by soaring prices and Yang.
Third, Hou Qi's blackmail, the dog's remaining funds for building a house were quickly exhausted, so he planned to enlist in the army for the third time. After learning that the New Fourth Army he enlisted for this time was a "voluntary enlistment" and would not pay enlistment fees, Gou Yu had a negative mood of not cooperating with the training, and the disciplinary regulations of confiscation after the loot was seized also made Gou Yu extremely dissatisfied. Tang Yulong told Gou Yu that the soldiers of the New Fourth Army shed blood and sacrificed their lives one after another, not for the spoils of war, but to save the Chinese nation from fire and water and to completely drive the Japanese invaders out of China. Gou Yu watched his friend Mao Xiaoer, who was wearing the medal of honor, hold his head high in thunderous applause, and understood for the first time that there were more important things than the ocean, watches, and even gold teeth. The next day, the dog who came to the queue early stood up straight, ignoring the jokes of others, just looking at the rising sun among the clouds, "If it is for freedom, both can be thrown", this is his third answer to the value of life.
The development of things is the unity of progress and twists and turns. In "Dog Leftovers Run", the awakening of the protagonist Dog Leftovers is not achieved overnight, but is gathered by the teacher's teaching, the smiling faces of peers, and his own fiery practice. Based on the delicate psychological changes of the characters' eyes, the playwright places the audience in the realistic situation of the awakening of young people's values in waves and spirals through three questions and reconstructions of the protagonist's ideology.
Three "Bright Lights": Inheriting the Three Missions of Youth Consciousness Awakening.
In the play, the progressive awakening of the value of life is not entirely on his own. The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that we should arm young people with the party's scientific theories, inspire young people with the party's original aspiration and mission, and be confidants of young friends, enthusiastic about youth work, and guides for young people. The self-awakening and value realization of young characters such as Gou Yu and Tao'er have been broken through under the phased guidance of these "bright light" characters in the play:
The first "bright light" - armed physique, self-understanding. In the play, "* This character is only in the past memories of the Shaolin Temple, but it plays an extremely key role in his life growth. The protagonist Gou Yu not only has an "iron sand palm" that makes the characters in the play "frightened", but also a "sharpshooter" with high accuracy, and the mastery of these skills is closely related to his practical experience of carrying water and extinguishing the lamp with a slingshot in Shaolin Temple for ten years. It can be said that the talent of the dog is not innate, but accumulated step by step from practice. As a confidant of young friends, "* guide them step by step to explore their potential, understand themselves, apply what they have learned, and finally become a new generation of young people with a strong physique."
The second "bright light" - arm the mind and know others. As a young student who has studied at the medical college, Tao'er began to awaken her consciousness first. Faced with his life-saving benefactor, Gouyu, Peach is eager to drive him to wake up quickly, shatter his naïve illusion of harmony in the small family at the time of the nation's survival, and do everything possible to stop his "escape" operation. After hearing his granddaughter's story, Peach's grandfather "Braided Master" reassured her that she didn't have to worry about the hesitation of his peers, thinking that as long as they were kind-hearted, they would come together sooner or later. As an enthusiastic person for youth work, "Master Braid" guides Tao'er to achieve understanding and tolerance for others when her work is difficult, and appropriately change her work methods, so as to eventually become a new generation of young people with a strong mind.
The third "bright light" - arm the mind and understand the world. In the play, Tang Yulong and the instructor are a key part of guiding the dog to awaken consciousness and reconstruct ideals. Before meeting Tang Yulong, the dog had martial arts and an unbudding mind, and even if he was in the occupied area, he had little sense of the changes in the world. Tang Yulong taught the mortise and tenon skills to Gou Yu, which strengthened his identity with traditional Chinese culture. Subsequently, he told him about the actual events of the Japanese invasion of China, such as the Battle of Songhu and the Lugou Bridge Incident, which further stimulated the awakening of his sense of national salvation. The instructor's sentence "Chinese do not fight Chinese" made Gou Yu couldn't help but shift the muzzle of the gun down an inch, and the conversation of "without everyone, where to come to a small family" also inspired Gou Yu to further self-question about the value of life. Tang Yulong and the instructor did not choose the "peach-style" tough pressure, but based on the growth experience of the young people of the times, followed their own psychological trajectory, and used the party's original mission to inspire young people step by step, arm their minds with the party's scientific theories, and guide young people to self-question and awaken to the world and life.
The playwright tries to break out of the traditional prison of "the halo of the protagonist" through the comparison of the group portraits of different young characters, analyze the different situations of different young people under the influence of different value theories at the same starting point, and ** the key factors affecting the growth and consciousness awakening of young people. The world of the playwright follows the true nature of the theory of sexual goodness, and rejects the simple facial expression. Dog leftovers, peach, Yang.
3. Xiaocui and other young people in Guide County all have good flashes in their respective aspects, but after being guided by different values, the growth rhythm of these young people has diverged. Influenced by family culture and new education, Tao'er first went to the communist cause; Gou Yu gradually awakened his consciousness under the temptation of good and good, and strengthened his communist ideals; Poplar.
3. Xiaocui was temporarily confused due to improper guidance, but returned to the right path with the help of her peers and teachers; The child has never been properly guided and has gone astray......If there is also a "bright light" character around the child and he is correctly guided, will he also become a communist young man with ideals, daring to take responsibility, able to endure hardships, and willing to struggle, just like the dog leftover? This is the romantic idea that the playwright wants, and it is also the realistic question it throws to the audience in front of the screen.
"Dog Leftovers Run" depicts a group portrait of Chinese young people with blood, flesh and spirit, who love the world, seek independence, have been confused, but have also returned to firmness. The inspiration brought by this is that to realize the mission of "educating people for the party and the country", we must follow the true goodness of young people, infiltrate young people with the party's profound history, arm young people with the party's scientific theories, and infect young people with the party's original aspiration and mission. After talking to the instructor, the dog took off his glasses to "pretend", and his vision returned to a clear state. In the sound of "fast running", the young people of Guide County ran against the wind, not fleeing backwards in a hurry, but striding forward and striding forward.
