Analysis of the distribution and utilization rate of underground geothermal energy resources in China
Geothermal energy, as a clean and renewable energy source, has received more and more attention and utilization in China in recent years. China has a vast territory with abundant underground geothermal energy resources and wide distribution, but due to the influence of various factors, its utilization rate is relatively low. The purpose of this paper is to improve the distribution and utilization rate of underground geothermal energy resources in China, and put forward corresponding suggestions.
The distribution of underground geothermal energy resources in China has significant regional characteristics. In general, geothermal resources are mainly concentrated in plate boundaries, areas with high volcanic activity, and sedimentary basins. For example, Yunnan, Sichuan and other places are relatively rich in geothermal resources, these areas have frequent crustal activities, geothermal fluid activity, and high temperatures, however, the southeast coastal areas and the Northeast Plain, although there are also geothermal resources, but they are relatively scattered and difficult to develop.
Although China has abundant underground geothermal energy resources, the utilization rate is relatively low. This is mainly due to a number of technical, economic and policy reasons. First of all, the development and utilization technology of geothermal energy is not mature enough, especially in the development of high-temperature geothermal resources, there are still certain technical problems. Secondly, the development and utilization of geothermal energy is relatively expensive, especially in areas where resources are scattered and development is difficult, which discourages many enterprises and investors. Finally, the importance and policy support for geothermal energy are insufficient, which also limits the development and utilization of geothermal energy.
In order to improve the utilization rate of underground geothermal energy resources in China, we need to start from many aspects. First of all, it is necessary to strengthen the scientific research of geothermal energy, promote the innovation and application of technology, and reduce the cost of development and utilization. Secondly, we should increase policy support for geothermal energy, increase the proportion of geothermal energy in the energy structure, and encourage enterprises and investors to participate in the development and utilization of geothermal energy. At the same time, it is also necessary to strengthen the popularization of geothermal energy and improve the public's awareness and acceptance of geothermal energy.
In summary, China has abundant underground geothermal energy resources, but the utilization rate is relatively low.
