For a long time, due to the wide range of product specifications, many materials, and large differences in billet types in the big rod production line, the improvement of the hot charging rate of billets in the workshop has been restricted. The bar workshop rose to the challenge, took the matching degree of the rolling plan as a breakthrough, made overall arrangements for the downtime of the rolling line, inverted groove and roll change, accurately controlled the rolling rhythm and the opening and pouring time of the steelmaking casting machine, and reasonably arranged the blank shape and length to ensure the seamless connection between the upper and lower processes. At the same time, it broke the inherent production organization model, overcame the limitations of slow cooling pit and heating process, and strengthened equipment maintenance, reduced downtime in shifts, and improved the turnover rate of slow cooling pits.
