Sydney concert asbestos testing announced, Taylor Swift is about to appear

The countdown to Taylor Swift's concert comes as the Sydney concert announces that asbestos testing will be conducted.

Taylor Swift will perform this Friday in Sydney for four days. The NSW Environmental Protection Agency has published an asbestos test report at the Sydney Olympic Park.

Taylor Swift recently tested the area during a recent concert at Sydney's Olympic Park and the results showed it was asbestos-free.

There are concerns that sports facilities at Sydney Olympic Park may be contaminated with asbestos. However, NSW has assured Swift's fans that the concert will go ahead as planned and that all contaminated cladding will be removed before the concert begins.

NSW Environmental Protection Agency Director Tony Chappell said after multiple tests found no contaminated vegetation at the site.

The asbestos tests we conducted at the Olympic Park were all negative, so I am confident to say that the harbor city is ready for Taylor Swift.

However, it has been confirmed that two schools in Sydney's western suburbs - St Luke's Catholic College in Marsden Park'S Catholic College) and Penrith Christian School – asbestos is present. St. Luke's Catholic College in Marsden Park'S Catholic College) and Penrith Christian School in Mount Uchad.

St. Luke's Catholic School will be closed for a week for repairs. NSW Department of Education Murat Dizdar said the Penrith School would remain open because:"Students, faculty, and staff are unable to travel to the disaster area"。

Didzdal has previously said Edmondson Park Public School, Annan Hill in Curran Hill, Kemps Creek Christian School, Holy Trinity Catholic Primary in the West Side School) and Domremy Catholic School in Five Quay are still awaiting test results. The Domremy Catholic School at Five Wharf West is still awaiting test results.

According to news reports some time ago, asbestos was found in a Catholic school in Domremi.

Asbestos cladding has been found in more than 30 places in Sydney.

Liverpool West Public School, located in Sydney's south-west North Beaches, and Allenby Heights Public School in Allenby Heights, have also been found to be contaminated with asbestos.

Pupils from Liverpool West End Public Schools have been placed at Gujangari Public School for individual tutoring, with Dizdar also travelling to the school on Monday.

Public schools in Allenby Heights remain open.

Previously, following the discovery of asbestos at Campdowne Hospital, Sutherland Hospital will also test for asbestos.

The Environmental Protection Department (EPD) says more than 600 tests have been conducted since January this year, but no asbestos has been found.

Chappell said the EPA is investigating why plastic film was contaminated with asbestos, and the exact cause is not yet clear.

Dizdal said that the Ministry of Education's regulations do not allow the use of plastic film, which he believes"Very unfortunate"。

He said:"Our requirement is that we do not use plastic films that can be used or plastic films that contain asbestos residues.

He said:"For me, it's illegal. What is happening here is a disgrace.
