From the perspective of migrant workers, the protection of migrant workers needs to be strengthened

As you know, each province and city will announce a minimum wage standard every year, and the minimum wage standard in good big cities such as Shanghai and Beijing reaches about 2,500 yuan per month, but the minimum wage standard in general provinces is below 2,000 yuan per month, for example, the minimum wage standard in Jiangxi Province is divided into three grades, the highest grade is 2,000 yuan per month, the middle grade is 1,870 yuan per month, and the lowest grade is 1,740 yuan per month. To be honest, these minimum guaranteed wages are only enough to maintain personal monthly food and drink, and other expenses cannot be properly guaranteed.

Recently, Shenzhen, Dongqi and other places from time to time have stopped work and production, and workers are forced to take holidays, and the enterprises will pay 80% of the local minimum wage standard to the workers on vacation according to the local minimum wage standard, and at the same time, the enterprise will continue to pay five social insurance and one housing fund for the holiday workers. In the living expenses issued to migrant workers, the part of social security and medical insurance that migrant workers need to pay will also be deducted, and the actual payment will be lower.

First of all, some enterprises are now suspending work and production, but they are unwilling to arrange for employees to take holidays, so they implement an eight-hour work system five days a week, and workers only receive the minimum wage, which is simply not able to survive, let alone support their families. After five days and eight hours, if there is no overtime, you will not be able to earn more wages, which is to force the workers to leave and find other jobs. If the employee has worked in the enterprise for a longer period of time and leaves the company in order to survive, the employer can obtain the part of the labor compensation that the employee will have to pay instead of terminating the labor contract due to the enterprise's factors. This is a common tactic used by some businesses. Many companies use this trick when they shut down production. Restless discharge, recall employees for five days and eight hours, no overtime, no production, just arrange for mowing the grass for hygiene, such a thing can be described as painstaking.

In addition, the establishment of the minimum wage standard, which is usually considered by enterprises to be an eight-hour work system five days a week, such a low minimum wage, according to such a normal work, no overtime after eight hours a day, no overtime on weekends, can the worker's salary be enough for the whole family? Should all migrant workers live under the protection of the subsistence allowance? Isn't the setting of this minimum wage standard to encourage workers to work more overtime? Otherwise, you won't be able to make money. From the point of view of the original intention of the formulation, it is to protect workers from being deducted from wages, but some unscrupulous enterprises have exploited loopholes, but instead to ask ordinary workers to work more overtime, work overtime, and work overtime to earn enough wages to survive and support their families, which is contrary to the formulation of labor protection and the restriction of overtime hours.

On the other hand, if we look at the minimum wage standard, are there any loopholes in the employment of some enterprises? Vulnerabilities are real, obviously flawed, and exploited by unscrupulous companies. Especially for ordinary migrant workers, they are not protected, but are victimized by them. Let the workers sweat hard, and finally leave the company with bitterness and tears. The hard work of the workers is to survive and earn wages, but because of such an inauthentic practice of the enterprise, the hearts of the workers are broken. Here, we call on the relevant departments to urgently solve the loopholes in the formulation of labor wages, and even abolish the minimum wage standard, and formulate a better wage standard to benefit the majority of migrant workers and workers.
