Recently, Yan Chunhui, a 2011 undergraduate student of clinical medicine at the School of Clinical and Basic Medical Sciences (Institute of Basic Medical Sciences) and a member of the Taishan Love Teaching Group, successfully completed the collection and donation as a donor of the Chinese hematopoietic stem cell donor database.

After graduation, Yan Chunhui successfully entered the People's Hospital of Taierzhuang District, Zaozhuang City, and became an obstetrician. She is conscientious and responsible in her work, always adhering to the tenet of "serving the people", thinking about patients everywhere, and relieving patients' pain with exquisite medical skills. In May 2021, she actively responded to the call of the hospital, took the initiative to participate in the blood sample collection of bone marrow hematopoietic stem cells, and volunteered to join the China hematopoietic stem cell donor database to become a glorious hematopoietic stem cell donation volunteer. In November 2023, Yan Chunhui received a letter from a staff member of the Red Cross, informing her that she had been successfully matched with a patient and asking if she was willing to donate, and she immediately agreed to donate. "As a doctor, I am well aware of the seriousness of blood diseases and the importance of bone marrow hematopoietic stem cells for patients with blood diseases. Bone marrow hematopoietic stem cell transplantation is not only a first-class method, but also the dawn of a patient's new life, but also the hope of a family's continuation! ”

Subsequently, Yan Chunhui actively cooperated with the staff of the Red Cross Society in the preparation before donation, and began to insist on exercising, eating lightly, and preparing for the donation of hematopoietic stem cells at any time. On January 31, accompanied by his family, Yan Chunhui went to the No. 96 Hospital of the Joint Logistics Support Force of the Chinese People's Liberation Army to complete the collection of hematopoietic stem cells twice, which took about nine hours, with a circulating blood volume of about 25,000ml and a concentrated cell capacity of 440ml.

Yan Chunhui joined the Taishan Love Teaching Group in 2013 and went to teach at Huadan Jiancuo Orphanage School in Madang Township, Xiahe County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province in the summer of that year. As a member of the Taishan Love Teaching Group, she has always adhered to the volunteer tenet of "love and inheritance, teaching and continuation", and the pace of spreading love has never stopped, but also gone farther and farther.

Founded in 2010, with a total of more than 1,000 members and an average age of 20 years old, Taishan Love Teaching Group has gone to Yunnan, Guizhou, Gansu, Qinghai and other remote mountainous areas to carry out voluntary teaching with medical professional characteristics in the summer for 13 consecutive years, sowing the fire of love and hope in the hearts of children. The support group will always adhere to the road of volunteering, practice the mission of love and dedication with the original intention of volunteerism and the heartiness of public welfare, shoulder the entrustment of the times to young people, carry forward the spirit of dedication, and let go of the dreams of youth.
