This marks the first section of the first phase of the Line 4 project to achieve double-line breakthrough, and a new breakthrough in the construction of the project.

The left line tunnel, which was previously broken through in January, can now be seen to be stretched and meandering forward, showing the results of shield construction more intuitively.
It is understood that on November 2, 2023, the "Fuxing No. 2" shield machine started from Shitong Road Station and began the excavation journey of the right line of the tunnel between Shitong Road Station and Yucun South Road Station, which lasted more than four months. During the shield tunneling, 24-hour safe and precise control was required, and the builders spent the Spring Festival of the Year of the Dragon on the construction site. They use courage and perseverance and lean ingenuity to build the "underground dragon" step by step.
At the shield receiving site, He Tao, project manager of Shijiazhuang Rail Transit Line 4 of CCCC First Public Bureau, introduced that the right line of the tunnel between Shitong Road Station and Yucun South Road Station is about 1,109 meters long, which is in the medium coarse sand and silty clay layer, which involves many risk sources such as underpass tunnels and pipelines, and the construction is difficult. In order to ensure the safe and stable tunneling of the shield machine, the Municipal Railway Group and the construction unit have formulated an effective management and construction plan. During the construction process, a remote information control system for shield tunneling was established to monitor the shield parameters in real time and realize intelligent tunneling and standardized management. During the excavation period, the settlement was controlled by the mud effect method, and the zero early warning of the settlement of the surface and structural buildings was realized, which ensured the successful breakthrough of the section. Next, the "Fuxing No. 2" shield machine will be transferred, commissioned and overhauled, and will be excavated into the tunnel between Shitong Road Station and Youyi South Street Station as planned.
At the same time as the tunnel construction, the construction of the station on the ground level was carried out. The main structure of the station is under construction at Yucun South Road Station, the starting station of the first phase of the project of Line 4. Yucun South Road Station is located on the southwest side of the intersection of Xinshi South Road and Planning Huiming Road, which is a two-storey underground island station with a total length of 3952 meters, the width of the standard section is 207 meters, a total of two entrances and exits and two groups of wind pavilions, using the open cut method construction. At the construction site, the construction of steel bar binding and middle plate and roof is in full swing.
Wang Gaoyan, director of the Engineering Department of the General Contracting Department of China Communications Construction Shijiazhuang Rail Transit Line 4, said that at present, all 20 stations of the first phase of Line 4 have entered the construction site, of which 18 stations have entered the main construction stage. At present, the main structure of Shitong Road Station has been capped, and the rest of the stations are carrying out enclosure pile construction, earthwork excavation, and main structure construction to varying degrees.
