In the early 90s, I stepped into the door of a state-owned enterprise and started a different life journey. At that time, I was full of expectations for the future and full of enthusiasm for my work.

My starting point is an internal combustion engine fitter, and the one-month training before I take up my post is really devil's training! But I'm not afraid, for the sake of my dreams, I fight!Immediately afterwards, I spent two months studying part-time and successfully obtained the electrician operation certificate. At that time, I felt that I was one step closer to my dream.

However, things didn't go the way I had hoped. I was not transferred to the position of electrician, but because the job required me to switch to pressure vessel operation and welding. Once again, I worked hard to get the corresponding certificate. Even though I had these skills, I never moved into the job I wanted.

Many people choose to leave state-owned enterprises because the treatment and benefits of private enterprises are much higher than those of state-owned enterprisesHowever, considering my child's school status and hukou in Beijing, I chose to stay in a state-owned enterprise. Although the job is not ideal, at least it is stable.

Compared with the concept of employment in the 90s, the concept of employment has undergone earth-shaking changes. Our generation may be destined to work for a living, not just for a dream.
