How to deal with the discharged chemical wastewater?Two cases tell you

It is observed that many chemical enterprises that have built or already built sewage stations have imperfect processes and wrong methods, resulting in very difficult treatment, or excessive force, resulting in high treatment costs. Let me introduce two cases for your reference.

Many chemical enterprises encounter problems in the treatment of industrial wastewater, because the chemical wastewater discharged is listed as "12 difficult to treat wastewater", and is in the forefront, with the following characteristics:

There are various types of pollutants, and chemical wastewater may contain a variety of organic matter, inorganic matter, heavy metal, acid and alkali substances, solvents, suspended solids, nutrients, etc.;

Due to the particularity of chemical production, the concentration of pollutants in wastewater is often very high, including high concentrations of COD (chemical oxygen demand), ammonia nitrogen, salt and other pollutants, some even reach more than 100,000 mg L;

Strong toxicity, poor biodegradability, many chemical wastewater contains toxic substances, such as phenols, aromatic compounds, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, etc., many wastewater treatment methods are difficult to solve.

In addition to these three characteristics, there are other water quality and quantity fluctuations, high water temperature, high color, etc., which will affect the overall wastewater treatment process.

The project is mainly to treat "maleic anhydride wastewater", and the influent COD concentration is very high, reaching more than 20,000mg L, which is a kind of higher chromaticity, lower pH, and more suspended solids.

We use "iron-carbon micro-electrolysis + air flotation" as its pretreatment process to solve the problems of poor biodegradability and high concentration of suspended solids.

Among them, iron-carbon microelectrolysis is more common in high color, high concentration and refractory organic wastewater, which is a wastewater treatment technology of "treating waste with waste", which can remove a part of organic matter, improve biodegradability and reduce color.

After the pretreatment process, the biodegradability is improved, but the COD concentration is still very high, exceeding 10,000 mg L, which is difficult to cope with with the general biochemical treatment process. We use "high-efficiency composite UASB reactor + aerobic", through the previous two UASB reactors, to solve the problem of high COD concentration, inlet water 10000mg L, effluent COD concentration less than 1500mg L, play a good treatment effect.

If you like it, like, follow, favorite. Liyuan Environmental Protection will share more wastewater treatment cases and knowledge.

After the biochemical treatment process, the COD concentration has been significantly reduced, and the emission standard can be reached, and the corresponding advanced treatment process is added in order to stably meet the emission standard.

So far, this case of chemical wastewater can achieve stable discharge of wastewater up to standard, and the treatment cost is also low, which solves a problem of wastewater treatment.

Unlike the previous case, the COD concentration of this project is not so high, around 8000 mg L, but it contains a large amount of ammonia nitrogen pollutants, and the organic matter in it is also difficult to be degraded by microorganisms.

If the process used in the project is not suitable, it will directly lead to high treatment costs, we use the "pure biochemical treatment process", mainly through the biochemical treatment process to solve the problems of ammonia nitrogen, total nitrogen, organic matter in the wastewater, etc., to meet the discharge standards. Compared with other peers, it can reduce the cost of wastewater treatment a lot, and the operating cost is between 7-10, so that the company can use the saved wastewater treatment cost for other development places.

The main wastewater treatment process is "UASB reactor + contact oxidation method", in which the anaerobic of the project is anaerobic ammonia oxidation technology, which has the advantages of saving oxygen consumption, no need for external organic carbon source, and low sludge output.

After treatment, pollutants such as ammonia nitrogen and organic matter in wastewater can meet the discharge standards, and other pollutants such as air flotation and Fenton are set up to prevent the water quality of wastewater from being too high and the concentration of influent water is too high, so as to ensure that various factors entering the anaerobic reactor are under control.

Two cases of chemical wastewater treatment show that in the process of wastewater treatment, it is necessary to select the appropriate wastewater treatment process according to the wastewater situation, so as to meet the discharge standard and reduce the cost of wastewater treatment.
