The 1983 anti-gang and anti-evil campaign was regarded as very important by Comrade ***, because he realized that if the problem was not solved, it would bring heavy trouble to the country's economic development. In this operation, many leading cadres were involved, including Yang Yichen, the fourth procurator general of the Supreme People's Procuratorate and secretary of the Heilongjiang Provincial Party Committee. Yang Yichen was born in Faku County, Liaoning Province in 1914, and was bright and studious since childhood, and received a good education, which laid a solid cultural foundation for his revolutionary road.
In 1934, he was admitted to the law department of the Chinese University, where he received advanced Marxist-Leninist ideas and actively participated in various patriotic movements. After Japan launched a full-scale war of aggression against China, he joined the Communist Party and embarked on the road of revolution. With the increasing tension of the anti-Japanese situation, he went to the anti-Japanese front line in southern Hebei without hesitation, responsible for organizing production, and leading all the military and civilians to carry out counter-sweeps. On the battlefield, Yang Yichen showed his all-round talent in civil and military affairs, skillfully used strategy and tactics to fight wits and courage with traitors, and opened up a new revolutionary base area.
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Yang Yichen, as an outstanding talent, was reused by the superior leaders, not only serving as a member of the Standing Committee of the Heilongjiang Provincial Party Committee and vice governor, but also made many political achievements. He pointed out that it is imperative to integrate the people's living interests with economic construction, proceed from reality, and vigorously promote the rapid development of animal husbandry and forestry. After ten years of hardship, Yang Yichen suffered deeply and was relegated to the countryside for transformation.
However, even in the face of adversity, he always cherished his original intention, was full of unwavering sincerity to the people, adhered to the revolutionary faith, and actively defended the principle of truth. It was not until 1972 that Yang Yichen was able to resume normal work after receiving the care of the first class, and actively seized all opportunities for production and construction. With China's drastic implementation of the strike hard policy in 1983, Yang Yichen was quickly promoted to become the fourth supreme procurator general. As the top leader of the procuratorate, he led the staff to effectively safeguard public order and stability during the strike-hard campaign.
During his tenure as chief prosecutor, Yang Yichen often traveled to various parts of the country to inspect until his death in 1997 at the age of 83. Although Yang Yichen has passed away, his revolutionary spirit will be inherited and carried forward.
