Not long ago, the first convenient canteen independently managed and operated by the community in Chengwu County was officially opened for business in the Gucheng community. Gucheng Community is the largest residential community in Chengwu County, with 210,000 people, with nearly 30,000 actual residents, of which office workers and student families account for the majority. This year, the Party Committee of the Gucheng Community found that the masses are very urgent to solve the problem of "difficulty in eating" such as the inconvenience of young people cooking due to work and the lack of place for children to go to brunch.
According to the needs of the masses, we decided to transform the conference room into a convenient canteen by convening a mass congress of community party members, so as to truly become a service center for the party and the masses, serve the people, and benefit the people. Wang Qing, a member of the Party Committee of the Gucheng Community, said.
The conversion of the conference room into a canteen not only did not delay the daily work of the community party committee, but on the contrary, it brought in the contact with the masses. On the basis of the community canteen, the Gucheng Community Party Committee also gave full play to the civilized practice power of the new era such as community party member volunteers, youth volunteers and grid members, and implemented meal delivery and meal assistance services for 33 households in the community. The community canteen gives the people a "fireworks" at their doorstep, and the volunteer service makes the community more "humane".
Not only that, the local government also takes the "community canteen" as the radiation point to comprehensively promote the construction of the "15-minute life circle", and according to the actual needs of different groups of people, it has launched the construction of service systems such as meal assistance, shopping, medical treatment, and travel at the doorstep, further weaving a dense service network for the people, testing the "depth" of theme education with the "temperature" of people's livelihood, and holding up the stable happiness of the masses.
