The 20th Anniversary Art Exhibition of the Academy of Literature and Art of the China Academy of Art

From December 5 to 20, 2023, the "Integrity and Innovation-Art Report Exhibition and Academic Seminar for the 20th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Literary and Art Institute of the Chinese Academy of Arts" hosted by the Chinese Academy of Arts was held at the China Arts and Crafts Museum.

The exhibition focuses on the important creations and research achievements of the Academy of Literature and Art of the Chinese Academy of Arts in the past 20 years, including more than 200 works by 67 literary and artistic workers, and is composed of five categories: literature and drama, fine art calligraphy and photography, pottery and lacquer art, stage performance and creation, and design, presenting a rich artistic feast for the audience. The exhibition site exhibits a wealth of exhibits, such as the space scene artwork "The Spirit of Flowers - The Mirror of the Lotus", by the ceramic artist Zhu Legeng, honorary director of the Academy of Literature and Art of the Chinese Academy of Arts, who combines traditional ceramic art with immersive scenes to interpret the Chinese story of "creating in inheritance".Writer and calligrapher Mo Yan's calligraphy works also attracted many audiences, and his new poem "The Ballad of the Mombasa-Nairobi Railway" written by him wrote about Mo Yan's feelings after visiting the Mombasa-Nairobi Railway in Kenya.

Founded in 2003, the Academy of Literature and Art of the Chinese Academy of Arts has three creation centers, namely the Art Creation Research Center, the Cultural Industry Creative Center, and the Literature and Art Research Center.
