Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, January 8 (Reporter Zhang Xinxin, Wang Yueyang) The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology organized the preparation and recently issued the "Guidelines for the Construction of National Automotive Chip Standard System", aiming to further promote the development and implementation of automotive chip standards and help the development and application of automotive chips.

This reporter learned from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on the 8th. The guidelines make it clear that according to the current situation of automotive chip technology, industrial application needs and future development trends, the standard system will be established and improved in stages, and efforts will be increased to give priority to the formulation of urgently needed standards such as basic, common and key products, and then gradually promote the formulation of product application and matching test standards according to the maturity of technology. By 2025, more than 30 key standards for automotive chips will be formulated, and basic requirements such as environment and reliability, electromagnetic compatibility, functional safety and information security will be clarifiedBy 2030, more than 70 automotive chip-related standards will be formulated, and the generality requirements for basic general, product and technology applications and matching tests will be further improved, so as to achieve effective support for forward-looking and integrated automotive chip technology and product research and development.

Automotive chips are the core components of automotive electronic systems. Compared with consumer and industrial chips, the application scenarios of automotive chips are more special, and the requirements for environmental adaptability, reliability and safety are more stringent.
