Case Study:
PCAT material is a fully biodegradable and environmentally friendly material with high strength and hardness, wear resistance, high temperature resistance, and excellent insulation, and is commonly used in electronics, household appliances, and automotive parts as insulation, decorative materials, and structural materials. However, in the surface treatment process of PACT material, there may be grease, water stains or other dirt on the surface of PCAT material, and the presence of these substances may affect the adhesion of the coating, and it is difficult for the paint film and the material to form a solid bond of paint coating, resulting in the occurrence of paint peeling.
Process requirements:
In the VCAT material UV vacuum electroplating process, the adhesion between the UV primer and the substrate needs to reach 5B, and there is no paint peeling at the position of the hand buckle and no false adhesion after 24 hours of placement.
Solution:
The PCAT vacuum coating process can enhance the cleaning and pre-treatment of the PCAT surface, remove grease, water stains and other dirt, and improve the surface energy to improve the adhesion of the coating. In the coating process, various parameters such as temperature, humidity, coating thickness and drying time should be strictly controlled to ensure the quality and adhesion of the coating. The above factors are controllable and can be solved by standardized process flow, but if the effective adhesion bond cannot be formed between the paint film and the PCAT material, the treatment agent can be sprayed on the surface of the substrate by the method of primer adhesion treatment agent, and then sprayed with UV primer and subsequent vacuum plating process.
