Case Study:
The surface of PPS plastic is highly crystalline, low polarity, and often added fiber filling in the application, which further increases the difficulty of spraying. At the same time, the surface tension of the PPS substrate is low, and it is difficult to achieve a good adhesion effect between the paint and the substrate during the oil spraying process, resulting in problems such as paint peeling off and paint film falling off during the 100-grid adhesion test when the paint is sprayed on its surface.
Process requirements:
The surface of PPS plastic is sprayed with color paint, and when the adhesion test is carried out by 3M600 adhesive tape, the adhesion needs to reach 5B without paint film falling off.
Solution:
To solve the problem of poor adhesion of PPS material surface painting, the first thing is to choose a paint suitable for PPS plastic and ensure that it has good compatibility with the substrate. Secondly, the traditional method can increase the roughness of the surface of the substrate by surface treatment of the PPS substrate, such as sandblasting, thereby increasing the contact area between the paint and the substrate, thereby improving the adhesion. However, the selection of paint is sometimes difficult to adjust, the traditional method of construction is difficult and the promotion effect is unstable, and the cycle time of the process interval is small, so the PPS treatment agent priming method is comprehensively selected, and the spraying paint on the surface of the PPS substrate is more suitable for different spraying lines and spraying methods.
