On January 6, the unveiling ceremony of the completion of the MEMS sensor industry innovation base was held in Hebei. Ma Yujun, deputy secretary of the Shijiazhuang Municipal Party Committee and mayor of Hebei Province, and president of China Electronics Industry Foundation Research Institute unveiled the MEMS sensor industry innovation base.
The MEMS sensor industry innovation base project, invested and constructed by Hebei Meitai Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Electronics Industry Basic Research Institute, is the first key construction project officially completed in Shijiazhuang City this year. The project integrates MEMS R&D, design, manufacturing, packaging and testing, and system integration, which can meet the needs of strategic emerging industries such as aerospace, new energy vehicles, and artificial intelligence for MEMS core products, and will lead the development of MEMS technology. The new MEMS sensor packaging, testing and system integration product line can add 20 million (sets) of MEMS sensor production capacity per year.
In the era of the Internet of Everything, sensors are needed as long as there is a need for perception. When MEMS sensors are applied to automobiles, they become the "five senses" of automobiles, detect and measure acceleration, tilt, rotation and multi-degree-of-freedom motion in real time, and accurately complete "all-weather" positioning and orientation. The inertial navigation system built with MEMS sensors as the core can "stand up" when the signal of GPS, Beidou, 5G and other signals is poor, and provide real-time positioning and navigation functions by using the perceived road information and the deduction of the vehicle's trajectory.
In the next step, CETC Industry Foundation Research Institute will take the completion of the MEMS sensor industry innovation base as a new starting point, seize strategic opportunities, continue to explore and innovate, promote the implementation of more high-quality projects, and inject new vitality and new momentum into the high-quality development of the new generation of electronic information industry.
