In 2000, the archaeological excavation of Leifeng Pagoda began, and the archaeological team just dug down a layer and unearthed a broken stone stele, which not only recorded the construction process of Leifeng Pagoda, but also recorded a little-known use of Leifeng Pagoda.
In 878 AD, the Huangchao Rebellion broke out, and in 879 AD, the rebel army attacked Hangzhou. At that time, Hangzhou was rich in warriors, in order to defend the countryside and resist the burning and looting of the rebel army, eight counties near Hangzhou, each county selected 1,000 men, to form an army of 8,000 people - Badu Army. Just like the eight thousand Jiangdong children under the command of Xiang Yu, the Badu Army has strong combat effectiveness, and the leader of the Badu Army is also a hero like Xiang Yu, Qian Biao, the king of Wuyue, and later the Tang Dynasty fell, Qian Biao also relied on these 8,000 people to establish the Wuyue Kingdom in today's Zhejiang, southern Jiangsu, northern Fujian, and eastern Jiangxi.
Wu Yue is very wealthy, here since ancient times rich in silk, ceramics and world-famous merchants, their business not only spread all over the country, but also by the sea to open up a maritime Silk Road connecting the world, the business to the world.
At that time, the Central Plains was very chaotic, but relying on the fierce Badu soldiers, Wu Yue Kingdom has always been prosperous and stable. So, why didn't Qian Biao lead the Badu soldiers to fight out and unify the world? In fact, Qian Biao is facing a more serious problem, that is, the Badu soldiers are too fierce, how to control them from overthrowing themselves?
After careful consideration, Qian Biao thought of a good solution. On this day, another group of merchants from present-day India and Pakistan docked at Hangzhou Bay. Wu Yue's ** people heard that there was a top national treasure begged by King Wu Yue in the cabin, so they came to the dock to greet them. But when the shipwrights were about to unload, a group of poisonous monks came out of the cabin. No one knew that this was actually the good way that Qian Biao thought. Qian Biao wanted to use the body poison monk, use Buddhism, and use the treasure they brought to subdue Wu Yue's fierce folk customs. He wanted to establish a southeastern Buddhist kingdom in Wuyue where he could live and work in peace and contentment.
Sure enough, Qian Bi's plan succeeded. In just over a decade, Buddhist temples have been established in various places. The common people have started production at full capacity, the first Buddhist office, the army has also had lofty beliefs, and Wu Yueguo has become richer and more stable.
Until Qian Biao died and Qian Biao's son also died, the country has always been very stable, including his grandchildren coming to power, and experiencing several brothers-to-brother successions, Wu Yueguo did not have any turmoil.
This kind of brother and brother, if it is placed in the northern country, it only takes one time to make the country into a pot of porridge. But the throne of Wu Yueguo was smoothly passed to Qian Di's third grandson, Qian Yu. Seeing the name on the stele, the archaeological team was very excited. Because of the identity of the builder, it was finally cracked, and Leifeng Pagoda was built by Qian Yu.
So, what is the purpose of Qian Yu's construction of Leifeng Tower?
In 960 AD, the southern Wu Yue Kingdom was still living and working in peace and contentment, and at this time in the Central Plains, Zhao Kuangyin and Chen Qiao mutiny and yellow robes were added to establish the Song Dynasty. Zhao Kuangyin is ambitious and wants to dominate the world. The news also reached Wu Yueguo.
Qian Yu knew that the current Wu Yue Kingdom was no longer the Wu Yue Kingdom that was rich in warriors, and he could only rely on the power of the Buddha to resolve the crisis in front of him. Then, Qian Yu thought of his grandfather's baby back then, this baby has never been used, and it seems that it has to be used this time. So Qian Yu ordered the construction of the Lei Feng Tower, and the Lei Feng Tower was actually the turret that launched this precious divine power.
So, what exactly is this baby? The archaeological team continued to dig down, and a few weeks later, they found another stone tablet, on which the name of the treasure was recorded, the snail hair. What is this thing?
Back in 400 B.C., in the ancient Indian country of corpses, the Buddha attained nirvana, and his body turned into a raging fire. After the flame was extinguished, they collected a total of more than 80,000 Buddha relics, and the snail hair was the Buddha's hair relics.
The archaeological team worked hard and quickly dug up the underground palace. On March 11, 2001, the underground palace was opened, and many precious cultural relics were unearthed inside. The largest of these is this strangely shaped Buddha statue, which suppresses a dragon with teeth and claws.
Why is this Buddha statue in this shape? There is a saying that this is a kind of suppression, do you think that dragon is very similar to the once fierce Badu soldiers? Are these small objects very similar to the Wu Yue people who have been domesticated by Buddhism?
Perhaps this is the true meaning of the White Lady Yongzhen Leifeng Tower. The suppressed white snake is not a banshee, but a fierce character formed in the Wuyue region from the Liangzhu period more than 5,000 years agoWhat was suppressed was that Wu Wangfucha and Yue Wang Goujian, who had vainly tried to dominate the Central Plains; The suppression was also the overlord of Western Chu who once brought 8,000 Jiangdong disciples to sweep away Great Qin. With Leifeng Pagoda and Xizi Lake, from then on, Wu Yue became soft and became the money bag of the Central Plains Dynasty.
