Science and technology ** reporter Yang Lun correspondent Qu Jiawei.
The reporter learned from Jilin University that since this week, the "Jilin University No. 1" satellite has successively completed the development summary and factory review, and its functions and performance indicators meet the general requirements of development.
At present, "Jilin University No. 1" is undergoing final technical debugging and testing in the first workshop in Taizhou, Zhejiang, and will be packaged and shipped to the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Site in Gansu Province in the near future for a scheduled launch.
For many years, China has been lacking optical remote sensing satellites and data products with higher efficiency and equal emphasis on atlas in the field of earth observation and remote sensing. Since 2021, under the guidance of Professor Lin Jun, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Professor of the School of Instrument Science and Electrical Engineering of Jilin University, Professor Zhang Liu, doctoral supervisor of the School of Instrument Science and Electrical Engineering of Jilin University, deputy director of the National Geophysical Exploration Instrument Engineering Technology Research Center, and head of the Joint Laboratory of Aerospace Precision Instrument Technology, has led the team to make unremitting efforts and continue to tackle key problems, and cooperate with Suzhou Jitian Xingzhou Space Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Jitian Xingzhou) to jointly carry out the "Jitian Star A-01 Star" The production and research and development of related core functional components and computing software completed the final test and finalization of the product in the middle of this year, and the satellite was officially named "Jilin University No. 1".
The person in charge of the project told reporters that "Jilin University-1" is China's first optical remote sensing satellite with the capabilities of "arbitrary curve non-orbital imaging" and "computational reconstruction of high-geometric hyperspectral imaging". It has the remarkable characteristics of "high timeliness, high geometry and hyperspectral", which can improve the traditional imaging technical indicators by more than 10 times, solve the technical problems of "smart, clear and colorful" remote sensing images, fill the gap in the relevant technical fields in China, and can be widely used in natural resources survey, transportation control, financial and insurance services, smart city construction and other fields of economic and social development and national defense security, and will effectively improve the quantitative application level of satellite remote sensing.
After the first launch of "Jilin University No. 1", Jilin University and Jitian Xingzhou will jointly plan and complete the construction of a remote sensing satellite "constellation" composed of 28 satellites around 2026, and plan to build a satellite "constellation group" composed of more than 100 satellites by 2030.
