"Colorful Vientiane - Grotto Art Immersion Experience" was recently opened to the public at the National Museum of China, and the "panorama" of the five grottoes was unveiled, inviting you to immerse yourself in the experience.

The exhibition space is about 1,500 square meters, and the main hall is designed as a giant digital installation with a blooming lotus flower as the main model, and the artist combines digital painting, digital image and AI algorithm technology to express, excavate and interpret the artistic style and rich connotation of Kizil Grottoes, Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes, Maijishan Grottoes, Yungang Grottoes and Longmen Grottoes with a contemporary vision and unique perspective.

The "Art Time and Space Experience Area" is divided into five sections, expressing the respective characteristics of the five grottoes, and sorting them according to the geographical location of the grottoes from west to east. "Lingge World" selects representative mural plots from the development period to the prosperous period of the Kizil Grottoes, and uses space to extend and rotate into the tunnel of time, showing the development of the grotto art in the east.

The "Ancient Pearl" renders the plant patterns, cloud patterns, flame patterns, flying patterns, geometric patterns, animal patterns and other patterns in the murals of the Mogao Grottoes with the help of algorithm images, presenting its brilliant grotto art style.

"Oriental Smile" combines the unique landscape texture of Maijishan Grottoes, the smoke and rain of Maiji, the golden light of the Silk Road, and the staggered light and shadow to transform into a smiling Buddha shadow, exuding the ultimate oriental charm.

Inspired by the Yungang Grottoes, the cave is inlaid on the weathered cliff wall, presenting the beauty of lines, patterns and colors that have been baptized by time from the same perspective.

"Wonderland" selects the inscription of the inscription represented by the "Longmen Twenty Pins" of the Longmen Grottoes for recreation, and reorganizes the aerial matrix of the stele calligraphy in the form of a hanging array with the original stone shape of the Wei stele as the carrier.

In addition, in the "Teaching Interactive Experience Area", in addition to collecting stamps and punching cards, you can also draw your own exclusive mural, and let the mural "fly" on the screen through interactive equipmentIn the "Derivative Art Zone", you can choose your favorite cultural and creative products and bring home the grotto art.
