On December 1, the new forces collectively announced the sales data for November, which made people pay more attention to this year's sales target. However, in these data, only one brand, Li Auto, has achieved its annual target ahead of schedule, and the performance of other brands is not satisfactory. Now, let's take a look at the specific data for these brands. First up was Li Auto, whose November deliveries reached 41,030 units, up 172 year-on-year9%, exceeding 40,000 units for two consecutive months.
From January to November this year, Li Auto delivered a total of 325677 vehicles, completing the sales target of 300,000 units ahead of schedule. Li Xiang, chairman and CEO of Li Auto, said that he will continue to challenge higher difficulties and strive to achieve the overall sales target of 50,000 units per month and 20,000 units per month of Li L7. Next is Xpeng Motors, whose November deliveries were 20,041 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 245%, exceeding 20,000 units for two consecutive months, setting a new high for monthly deliveries.
However, Xpeng has only achieved 60 percent of its annual sales target of 200,000 units74%。NIO's performance was relatively stable, with 15,959 deliveries in November, up 12 percent year-on-year6%, down 07%。From January to November this year, NIO delivered a total of 142026 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 331%。However, there is still a considerable gap between the annual sales target and the monthly sales target of doubling last year's sales and selling 30,000 units.
As for brands such as Aion, Zeekr, and VOYANT, according to the current sales data, they are almost short of the annual target, and more efforts need to be made to achieve the sales target. To sum up, the sales performance of the new force car is not very satisfactory, and only Li Auto has completed the annual target. Other brands also need to step up their efforts to reach their sales targets by the end of the year. The sales volume of the three traditional car companies Aion, Zeekr and VOYAH will continue to grow in 2023, but there is still a certain gap between them and the annual target.
GAC Aion's sales in November reached 41,567 units, a year-on-year increase of 45%, and the cumulative sales have reached 43410,000 units, up 80% y/y, but still needed to meet the annual target of 660,000 units. ZEEKR delivered 13,104 vehicles in November, with a cumulative annual delivery volume of more than 100,000 units, but the target is 140,000 units. VOYAH delivered 7,006 vehicles in November, up 365% year-on-year, but there was still a big gap. In a highly competitive market, all three OEMs face challenges, but they also show a steady growth trend.
The competition for sales is fierce, and VOYAH Automobile, AITO, and Leapmotor are all working hard to improve their delivery capabilities. Shao Mingfeng, assistant general manager of VOYAH, said that although the delivery target of VOYAH in 2024 is 10,000 units, this is only a starting point, and they hope to gain a firm foothold in the market and set more challenging targets. With the blessing of Huawei, AITO Wenjie delivered more than 180,000 units, of which 15,242 were delivered for the M7, with a total delivery of more than 27,000 units.
*The M7 has brought new traffic to AITO, prompting its monthly sales to stabilize at around 5,000. In order to deliver new vehicles to customers as soon as possible, Wenjie has been improving its delivery capacity, which is expected to deliver 23,000 new vehicles in December and 30,000 vehicles per month from 2024. Leapmotor also achieved a significant increase in deliveries in November, reaching 18,508 units, a year-on-year increase of 130%, and continuously refreshed the record high in deliveries.
Although the delivery data of specific models has not been released, judging from the recent delivery structure, it is likely that the Leapmotor C11 will still be the main force of deliveries. However, Leapmotor is still 7 percent away from the 200,000 sales target set at the beginning of the yearThe gap of 50,000 units means that it is difficult to achieve the target. However, Leapmotor said that its first global model, the C10, will start pre-sales in January next year, and plans to complete a series of actions such as arrival, launch and delivery in the first quarter.
In general, VOYAH, AITO, and Leapmotor are all working hard to improve their delivery capabilities in order to occupy a more competitive position in the fierce market competition. Consumers can expect to see more great automotive products come out in the future.
