1. Heat resistance.
Silicone rubber barely changes at 150C and still retains good elasticity, while organic rubber becomes brittle.
2. Cold resistance.
The embrittlement temperature of silicone rubber is -60 -70 compared to -20 -30 for general organic rubber, so it can still maintain excellent properties at low temperatures.
3. Weather resistance.
Silicone rubber has the physical property of almost no change over a long period of time when exposed to ultraviolet rays, wind, and rain.
4. Oil resistance, solvent resistance, chemical resistance.
Silicone rubber has excellent oil resistance compounds at high temperatures. They also have superior resistance to solvents and other chemicals, polar organic compounds and dilute acids and bases that are virtually unaffected.
5. Electrical insulation.
Silicone rubber is electrically insulating over a wide range of temperatures and frequencies. Even when immersed in water, there is almost no manifestation of decline.
6. Compression is permanently crooked.
They are stable in the temperature range (-60 to +250) and can maintain superior compression permanent skew.
7. Transparency and coloring.
Silicone rubbers are highly transparent, which means they can be easily colored in a variety of pigments.
