On December 29, 2023, the 7th Standing Council Meeting of the 7th China Economic Media Association was held in the People's Health Times. The meeting was presided over by President Zhao Jian, and the vice president, part-time vice president, executive director and entrusted representatives attended the meeting. The number of attendees was in accordance with the statutory requirements. The chairman of the board of supervisors of the association attended the meeting as an observer.
Meeting site. All the executive directors attending the meeting reviewed and passed the "Proposal on Reviewing the Work of the Association in 2023 and the Work Plan for 2024", "Proposal on Reviewing the Association's 2023 Annual Financial Accounts and 2024 Financial Budget Plan", and "Proposal on Preparing for the General Election of the Eighth National General Assembly", and formed the resolution of the meeting.
The meeting believed that in 2023, the association will thoroughly study, publicize and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and the first batch of students will complete the theme education of learning and implementing the socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era, so as to strengthen party building and drive the implementation of the policy of "legal compliance, integration of resources, and professional services", overcome difficulties to carry out brand service activities that meet the needs of members, provide effective support for the economic recovery after the transition of new crown epidemic prevention and control, resolve historical risks and hidden dangers in accordance with the law, and standardize and stabilize the development of various tasks. For the first time, it applied for the Ministry of Civil Affairs' 2023 national social organization level assessment and obtained the 3A level, further enhancing its influence and cohesion.
The meeting stressed that 2024 is the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and a crucial year for achieving the goals and tasks of the 14th Five-Year Plan. The association should be guided by the socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era, adhere to the general tone of the work of seeking progress while maintaining stability, complete the work of the association, further organize the research and experience exchange of the whole communication system of the economy, more effectively integrate the communication resources of members, enhance the connotation and extension of brand activities, strengthen economic publicity and guidance, sing the theory of China's economic brightness, and play a professional role in the economy to improve social expectations and promote economic recovery.
