In the blink of an eye, 2023 is about to pass, and the Japan Minnan Cultural Exchange Association (hereinafter referred to as the "Association") has ushered in its annual meeting.

This is the first annual meeting in three years of the pandemic. Since the spring of this year, the association has participated in many community activities in Hong Kong, the Philippines, Malaysia, Hangzhou, and Suzhou, and also participated in the "Fujian Culture into Japanese Calligraphy, Painting and Photography Art Tour Exhibition" held by the Ryukyu Fuzhou Shiyi Association and the exchange activities of the World Fuzhou Shiyi Association.

On the domestic side, in April this year, representatives of the association visited the leaders of the Federation of Overseas Chinese in Zhangzhou, Quanzhou, Xiamen and other southern Fujian regions, and discussed economic cooperation and exchanges. In June, the association participated in the reception of the first delegation of Fujian Province. In November, three representatives of the association participated in the 3rd World Fujian Overseas Chinese Association Friendship Conference, the 2nd Council of the Fujian Outstanding Women Association, the Overseas Chinese Friendship Seminar (19th) and the Jiageng Spirit Seminar (5th) and other activities, which were welcomed and supported by domestic leaders.

At the beginning of January this year, under the leadership of Su Congying, deputy director of the Association Affairs Bureau, the "We Are Family in Southern Fujian Association" activity held by the Kanto Regional Branch of the Association has achieved remarkable results, and the "Fu Tea Exchange Knowledge Lecture" held in the Tokyo Japan Southern Fujian Cultural Exchange Association Hall in early July has also received attention and praise at home and abroad. The association will make persistent efforts to continue to take the lead in telling the story of southern Fujian culture for the next generation of children, and make the association more and more energetic.
