On January 1, the first domestically produced large-scale cruise ship "Aida Modu" officially opened its commercial maiden voyage at Shanghai Wusongkou International Cruise Port. The dream of the Chinese to travel to the sea on their own large cruise ships has come true.

"Aida Modu" is a "modern city on the sea", with 2,125 guest rooms on board, which can accommodate 5,246 passengers, and is equipped with 16 floors and an area of 40,000 square meters of living and entertainment public areas.

By building domestic large-scale cruise ships, the overall strength of China's shipbuilding industry has further jumped. From hull design and space creation to special catering and entertainment projects, "Aida Modu" integrates diverse ingenuity and innovative concepts, and creates a "good show on a boat" through the cross-border integration of Eastern and Western cultural and tourism elements.

In the future, "Aida Modu" will also open cruise routes from China to Southeast Asian countries, providing guests with a variety of travel and vacation options combining long, medium and short, and launching cruise routes on the Maritime Silk Road in a timely manner.

The AG60E electric aircraft successfully made its maiden flight.

Adapt to low-altitude economy and green and low-carbon development.

Adapt to the requirements of low-altitude economy and green and low-carbon development, improve the energy-saving, emission reduction and noise reduction performance of domestic general aircraft, and comprehensively improve the level of aviation green manufacturing ......On January 3, the AG60E electric aircraft independently developed by Aviation Industry Corporation of China General Aircraft Co., Ltd. successfully completed its first flight at Qiandao Lake General Airport in Jiande, Zhejiang.

The AG60E is a single-engine, upper-wing, two-seater, all-metal aircraft designed for flight experience, basic flight training and private recreational flights. Captain of the aircraft 69 meters, 2 meters high6 meters, wingspan 86 meters, maximum take-off weight 600 kg, maximum level flight speed 220 km/h, maximum cruising speed 185 km/h.

It is reported that the research and development team uses the existing mature general aviation equipment platform to carry out electrification modification on the finalized aircraft and verify the key technologies of electric aircraft. Since the launch of the project in August 2022, the R&D team has successively carried out a number of tasks such as motor, electronic control, power battery selection, electric propulsion system integration test verification, electric aircraft safety and airworthiness compliance design technology research, completed the electrification modification of AG60 light sport aircraft, and made breakthroughs in many key technologies such as the design and system integration of pure electric power units.

The rated output of the modified AG60E electric aircraft power system is equivalent to that of the prototype, and all performance indicators except for the range and flight time have reached or exceeded the level of the prototype. The electric aircraft has better linearity of torque output and faster acceleration response, which is conducive to improving the take-off performance of the aircraft. Compared with the traditional fuel engine aircraft, the output power attenuation due to the increase of altitude, the motor is basically not affected by such factors, which can provide continuous climbing power for the aircraft and shorten the climb time. In addition, the motor is less noisy, more environmentally friendly and comfortable, its structure is simpler, and it is easy to use and maintain.

The successful first flight of AG60E electric aircraft technology demonstration machine has accumulated valuable experience for the development of electric aircraft products and the electrification and modification of existing fixed-wing aircraft, and has laid a solid foundation for seizing the strategic opportunity of aviation power transformation, promoting the layout of strategic emerging industries, and promoting the development of low-altitude economic industries.

The first launch of China's aerospace industry in 2024 was a complete success.

Future space missions are full of highlights.

At 19:20 on January 5, China successfully launched the Tianmu-1 meteorological constellation 15-18 satellites using the Kuaizhou-1A carrier rocket at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, and the satellite successfully entered the predetermined orbit, and the launch mission was a complete success, which is the first launch of China's aerospace in 2024.

Looking forward to 2024, a series of major space missions are full of highlights.

On the Chinese space station, the Shenzhou-17 astronaut crew has successfully completed the first out-of-cabin activity, and will carry out a large number of scientific experiments and technical tests in the future, as well as a number of astronaut crew out-of-cabin activities and application payload out-of-cabin missions.

In addition, the Long March 7 Yao-8 carrier rocket for the Tianzhou-7 launch mission has completed all the development work before leaving the factory and arrived safely at the Wenchang Space Launch Site. At present, the test systems in the launch site area are steadily preparing for the mission as planned.

Tianzhou-7 is China's improved cargo spacecraft, which will complete rendezvous and docking with the space station assembly after launch. This time, what "treasures" will Tianzhou-7 send to our space home, let us sit and wait for the "unpacking moment".

In the field of deep space exploration, the Chang'e-6 mission of the lunar exploration project is being developed as planned, and the launch is scheduled for 2024. According to the arrangement, the Chang'e-6 mission will carry out sample returns from the far side of the moon. So far, 10 lunar sample returns have been carried out by human beings, all of which are located on the front side of the moon, and the far side of the moon is older than the front side of the moon, and there is one of the three major bodies of the moon, the Aitken Basin, which has important scientific research value. In order to successfully complete the communication between the spacecraft on the far side of the moon and the earth, China's newly developed Queqiao-2 relay communication satellite is scheduled to be launched in the first half of 2024.
