In order to accelerate the construction of a standard system to promote the high-quality development of hydrogen energy, we should give full play to the normative and leading role of standards in the development of the hydrogen energy industry. On November 30, the National Hydrogen Energy Standardization Work Conference was successfully held in Beijing to exchange hydrogen energy technology and standard progress, share practical experience, and jointly develop hydrogen energy technology and standard innovation and development. China Energy Group Hydrogen Energy Company was approved to build a national technical standard innovation base (hydrogen energy) standard verification center, and held an awarding ceremony.
As the first National Hydrogen Energy Standardization Work Conference,The conference was strongly supported by the National Energy Administration, co-sponsored by the China Hydrogen Energy Alliance, the National Technical Standard Innovation Base (Hydrogen Energy), the China Association for Standardization, the China Society of Technology and Economics, and the National Energy Group. The person in charge of the National Steel Standardization Technical Committee attended the meeting and built an important platform for the standardization of hydrogen energy in China. Xu Ziming, Director of the Energy Efficiency and Energy Storage Division of the Science and Technology Department of the National Energy Administration, and Yuan Ming, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology and Information Technology Department of the National Energy Group, attended the meeting and delivered speeches, and Ma Lincong, Chairman of the National Hydrogen Energy Standardization Technical Committee, interpreted the "Guidelines for the Construction of Hydrogen Energy Industry Standard System (2023 Edition)". The meeting was chaired by Bao Wei, Secretary-General of the National Hydrogen Energy Standardization Technical Committee. The conference attracted more than 200 people from enterprises, research institutions and industry associations to participate in the current situation and future development trend of hydrogen energy industry standardization.

Build a national highland for the comprehensive development and utilization of hydrogen energy. As an important driving force for the development of China's hydrogen energy industry, China Energy Group attaches great importance to the standardization of hydrogen energy, and has made remarkable achievements in the standardization construction in the fields of renewable energy hydrogen production, green fuel evaluation, hydrogen energy key equipment testing and hydrogen quality analysis. On the one hand, we will actively cultivate innovative service capabilities for hydrogen energy. It has formed an integrated development model of "wind, solar, hydrogen storage and financing", taken the lead in establishing a professional and standardized hydrogen energy industry standard system, and led and participated in the preparation of more than 40 hydrogen energy technical standardsAmong them, it supported the compilation of China's first green hydrogen evaluation standard, and led the compilation of the world's first renewable energy hydrogen emission reduction methodology, which was approved by the United Nations Clean Development Mechanism. On the other hand, we will steadily expand the construction of a quality hydrogen energy system. It has built an international leading hydrogen quality testing laboratory, approved the green hydrogen energy key equipment testing demonstration base project, supported the "Hydrogen Energy Leader Action" of the China Hydrogen Energy Alliance, completed 13 sets of electrolyzer testing, and 3 projects were selected as the first (set) major equipment in the energy field of the National Energy Administration.
The "National Technical Standard Innovation Base (Hydrogen Energy) Standard Verification Center" awarded this time is China's first green hydrogen energy key equipment testing demonstration base under the guidance of the China Hydrogen Energy Alliance's "Hydrogen Energy Leader Action" as the implementation body. In view of the current lack of infrastructure to verify the rationality of hydrogen energy testing methods in the industry and the lack of relevant standard demonstration bases, the construction of the National Technical Standard Innovation Base (Hydrogen Energy) Standard Verification Center will effectively fill the gap in relevant technology development and demonstration testing bases, and is of great significance to promote the development of hydrogen energy testing technology in China, improve the industry standard system and realize the high-quality development of the hydrogen energy industry.

The first national-level guidelines for the construction of a standard system for the whole hydrogen energy industry chain have been implemented. Since the "14th Five-Year Plan", China's hydrogen energy industry has developed rapidly, and the relevant policy system has been established and improved. Standardization is an important foundation for the standardization and large-scale development of the industry, which can not only enhance the standardization and competitiveness of the industry, but also provide a solid foundation for technological innovation and industrial upgrading. In August this year, the National Standards Committee and six departments jointly issued the "Guidelines for the Construction of Hydrogen Energy Industry Standard System (2023 Edition)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Guide"), Ma Lincong pointed out in his interpretation that the "Guide" systematically constructed a standard system for the whole industrial chain of hydrogen energy production, storage, transportation and use, and clarified the goal of the construction of the standard system by 2025 The key tasks of domestic and international hydrogen energy standardization in the past three years provide unified specifications and guidance for all links of China's hydrogen energy industry chain, which is expected to promote the rapid development of the hydrogen energy industry. In the next step, the communication and liaison of relevant technical committees should be strengthened to ensure consistency under standard coordinationFully mobilize the forces of industry, academia, research and application to explore and form a new model for the coordinated development of various standards in the field of hydrogen energyStrengthen the publicity and training of the standard system and important standards, and guide the upstream and downstream enterprises of the industrial chain to actively implement the application of standardsActively participate in international standard cooperation and enhance international standardization capabilities.
As an advocate, promoter and practitioner of China's hydrogen energy industry, China Hydrogen Energy Alliance actively promotes the standardization of China's hydrogen energy industry. In the 2023 industry standard plan for the energy field issued by the National Energy Administration in October this year, there are 12 hydrogen energy standard formulation plans, covering the standard system of the whole industrial chain of hydrogen energy production, storage, transportation and use, covering foundation and safety, hydrogen preparation, hydrogen storage and transportation, hydrogen refueling, hydrogen energy application and other fields, including low-carbon and clean hydrogen energy standards, water electrolysis hydrogen production system performance, fuel cell performance evaluation, hydrogen refueling station pressure equipment evaluation, hydrogen transmission pipeline welding technology, etc. Among them, 4 are led by the China Hydrogen Alliance Research Institute. China Hydrogen Energy Alliance has in-depth cooperation with the China National Institute of Standardization to jointly support the deepening of enterprise standard leaders, build a national technical standard innovation base (hydrogen energy) standard verification center, and plan to release 50+ standards in the field of hydrogen energy, of which nearly 20 standards have been released.
