In the golden autumn of October, I chose to experience the trip to Xifeng Hot Springs. Together with friends, we drove from Guiyang and headed north on the Guizun Expressway. The Tiantai area was called Gusa in ancient times, after Wang Siyan in the early Qing Dynasty, there were five people in this area. The local Yin Zuyi, Yin Deyu and his son were successively admitted to the Jinshi, and left records in the "Guizhou Comrades", "Guiyang Mansion Chronicles", "Xifeng County Chronicles", "Xiuwen County Chronicles" and "Xifeng County Chronicles" and "Xiuwen County Chronicles", which became the objects of admiration for future generations. According to the relevant information: Tiantai Jungle is located at the foot of Tiantai Mountain, four kilometers northwest of the hot spring, there are more than 700 kinds of existing plant species, more than 300 kinds of wood, more than 400 kinds of herbs, nearly 1,000 ancient and famous trees, and a wide variety of animals, birds and fungi. No matter how far this bird flies or how tired it is, it never chooses to stay in other trees, its voice is beautiful and rhythmic, and it always calls "Bing Bang Bing Bang", no one knows its name, so it is called "Bing Gang". The eggs laid by the "Bing Gang" are square and different, and the locals made up a smooth slip "Bing Gang Bing Gang, the eggs are in all directions, don't cry trees, cry only agarwood".
No one had ever seen this strange bird, maybe it was just a legend. And the agarwood, according to the local rangers, the original temple near the former has been, because of its soft and powdery leather, with a fragrance, in the sixties and seventies of the last century, the local cattle herding baby peeled off the skin of the agarwood, and rolled it as a cigarette to smoke like an adult. Gradually, the agarwood, stripped of its bark, died, and has since become extinct in the rooftop jungle. How could the group of cowherd babies have thought that their seemingly naughty and simple actions at the beginning have now led to the extinction of this tree species in the rooftop jungle, and may have left the "Binggang" bird with nowhere to roost ......
The original rooftop jungle is more than 1,000 acres, reckless and vast, covering the sky and the sun, and once there were large carnivores such as pythons and tigers and wolves, which are a paradise for wild animals and plants. The jungle has always been the main source of support for the villagers of several nearby villages. Wild fruits in the forest, such as August melon, wild bayberry, wild plum, etc., are all delicious and delicious fruits of the locals, tall trees are the raw materials for building houses, and various wild plants such as the eight-clawed golden dragon are good medicine for curing diseases and saving people. Until now, there is still a herbaceous plant called moth grass also known as "night gate", because it has the effect of nocturia for children, it often attracts Zunyi, Kaiyang and other outsiders to come to dig dozens of miles away, ask what it is, say that this thing is only available in the Tiantai jungle within a radius of hundreds of miles, and it is a precious Chinese herbal medicine in the eyes of the locals.
After walking for about ten minutes, I found that the thickest trees in front of me were only the size of the bowl, and the forest in front of me seemed to be two worlds, without a sense of primeval jungle. According to a friend, this is the former site of Tiantai Zen Temple, which used to be large-scale and was destroyed after liberation, and these trees were planted artificially.

Boiling hot spring water flowed out of the dragon's mouth in front of it and into an unknown river. According to the "Unification Chronicles of the Great Qing Dynasty", "hot water gushed out, and the locals dug pits for pools and bathed in the open air. At that time, there was a folk song "At sunset, the hoe returned from farming, and the warm water washed the sweat and ashes." Bathing in fairy nectar water, there is a disease and a hundred years old. In 1942, the geologist Le Senxuan came here to investigate and made a preliminary ** on the origin of the hot springs.
