Fixing and connection of geocells

Mondo Technology Updated on 2024-01-28

The following steps are usually used for the fixation and connection of geocells:

1.The lattice of ** is unfolded, and its outer edge is placed along the gray line, and the two ends are fixed with lattice fitting anchors. Fill the inside of the lattice chamber, under normal circumstances, fill to two-thirds of the height of the geocell, and use an iron rod to compact the internal soil, the main purpose of which is to facilitate the overall linear adjustment after the geocell is formed.

2.At this time, the second lattice can be connected, and the inside of the first cell can be filled with soil to more than two-thirds of the height of the panel, and compacted with an iron rod and a heavy hammer.

3.The rest of the soil can be filled together when the wall lattice is filled until the construction of the entire cell is completed.

4.When adjusting the linear shape of the panel, attention should be paid to finding the parts that are not easy to deform for linear control, and for the compartment panel, the accessories connected to the panel can be used as a control point.

5.After positioning, the soil should be filled evenly to ensure that the inside of the lattice is uniformly sized.

6.In addition, the interior of the lattice must be filled with fine-grained soil, especially the parts that are in contact with the exposed material of the lattice panel, so as to avoid local bulging on the surface of the panel, which affects the appearance.

7.For the superimposed flexible retaining wall wall, the panel and the wall are fixed as a whole, and it is not necessary to control the elevation of each layer, after the elevation of the bottom layer is controlled, the subsequent layers can be controlled according to the filling thickness.

Before construction, the size of the hopper of each exposed compartment should be calculated according to the stretching length of each group of compartments, and the excess part of the connection is generally not within the calculated length, so as to prevent the uneven size of the hopper and affect the appearance.
