According to Shentong Metro, at present, Shanghai Metro has a total of 11 projects under construction, including Chongming Line, Line 2 West Extension, Line 12 West Extension, Line 13 West Extension, Line 17 West Extension, Line 18 Phase II, Line 20 Phase I West Section, Line 21 Phase I, Line 23 Phase I, Line 13 East Extension, and Line 15 South Extension, which started on December 24. The projects are progressing steadily towards the milestones.
Line 2 West Extension Project:The west extension of Line 2 extends westward from Xujing East Station of Line 2, with 1 station and a total length of about 17 km. The Panxiang Road Station is currently in the stage of foundation pit excavation and structural reconstruction, and its east end head shaft has been handed over to the shield operation. The main structure of the working shaft of Xujing East Station has been capped, and the foundation pit construction floor is attached. The upper and lower lines of the shield section between Panxiang Road Station and Xujing East Working Well have been completed by 100%.
Line 12 West Extension Project:The west extension of Line 12 extends westward from Qixin Road Station (not included) of Line 12, passing through Songjiang District and Minhang District, with a total of 6 stations and a total length of about 1727 km. At present, the civil construction of Husong Highway Station and Liuwu Highway Station;Dongjing Station, Science and Technology Park Station, and Changqifeng Well were completed in one phase;Huke No. 1 and Huke No. 2 are undergoing a phase of pipeline relocation.
Line 13 West Extension Project:The west extension of Line 13 extends westward from Jinyun Road Station (not included) of Line 13, with 5 stations and a total length of about 965 km. Construction of 3 stations has begun. Among them, the main structure of Ji Zhai Road Station has been capped and has entered the ancillary construction stageZhuguang Road Station is in the stage of foundation pit excavation;Jile Road Station is in the enclosure construction stage;Fangle Road Station and Yunle Road Station are undergoing pipeline relocation construction. The pile foundation construction of the parking lot of Beidi Road has begun. The upper and lower lines of the Jizhai Road Station - Hongweihe Fengjing shield section have been completed by 100%.
Line 13 East Extension Project:The east extension of Line 13 extends from Zhangjiang Road Station of Line 13 (not included) to the northeast, with 2 stations and a total length of about 452 km. At present, it is in the stage of comprehensively promoting land vacancy, among which the Gaoke Middle Road Station has taken the lead in starting the enclosure construction on May 28, 2023, realizing the start of the first station of the line.
Line 15 South Extension Project:The southern extension of Line 15 passes through Fengxian District and Minhang District, starting from Wangyuan Road Station in Fengxian District in the south and ending at Zizhu High-tech Zone Station of Line 15 that has been in operation. There are 4 stations and 1 reserved station for Xizha Highway, of which Wangyuan Road Station is interchange with Line 5, with a total length of 1026 kilometers, using the full underground line laying method.
Line 17 West Extension Project:The west extension of Line 17 extends westward from Dongfang Luzhou Station (not included) of Line 17, with a total length of about 6It is 59 kilometers away from 1 station. At present, the main concrete structure of Xicen Station of the West Extension Project of Line 17 has been capped, and the construction of the secondary structure has been completedThe substructure of the elevated section has been completed, and the erection of the U-beam of the whole line has been completed by 99%;The pouring of the G50 bridge section is 100% complete, the pouring of the barricade bridge section is 100% complete, and the prefabricated slab track bed is 46% complete.
Line 18 Phase II Project:The second phase of Line 18 is from the north end of Changjiang South Road Station of Line 18 to Dakang Road Station, and the line is about 801 km, with 6 stations, has fully entered the main civil construction stage of the station. Among them, the main structure of Changjiang West Road Station and Jiangyang South Road Station has been capped;Structural construction of Tongnan Road Station and Hulan Road Station;Aihui Road Station foundation pit excavation construction, Dakang Road Station enclosure structure construction. The shield section of the upper and lower lines of Changjiang West Road Station - Jiangyang South Road Station has been completed by 100%. The upward line of the shield section of Changjiang West Road Station and Tongnan Road Station has been completed by 42%, and the downward line has been completed by 2%.The upward line of the shield section of Jiangyang South Road Station-Aihui Road Station has been completed by 12%, and the downward line has been completed by 25%.
Line 20 Phase I West Section Project:The western section of the first phase of Line 20 will pass through Putuo and Jing'an districts, and pass through major areas such as Zhenru sub-center and Daning area from west to east, with a total length of about 71 km with 7 stations. At present, the western section of the project has officially started, among which, Shanghai West Railway Station and Pengyuepu Road Station are under ground wall construction, and the rest of the stations are making full progress in the preliminary work.
Line 21 Phase I Project:The first phase of Line 21 is an important north-south radial urban line in the third phase of Shanghai's urban rail transit construction plan, with a total length of about 2796 kilometers with 18 stations. Among them, Junmin Road Station, Guanglan Road Station, Pudong Football Stadium Station has been capped, Tanghuang Road Station, Shenjiang South Road Station, Zhangjiang Station, Kangnan Road Station, Linghe Road Station, Yanggao North Road Station, Dongjing Road Station and other 7 stations have entered the structure and foundation pit excavation construction, Gaosi Road Station is undergoing foundation pit excavation and enclosure structure construction, Liuchen Road Station, Jinqiao Station is undergoing enclosure structure construction. The upper and lower lines of the shield section of Junmin Road Station and Kangnan Road Station have been completed by 100%.
Line 23 Phase I Project:The first phase of Line 23 is a new urban line in the new round of rail transit line network, connecting Minhang Development Zone, Zizhu High-tech Zone, Wujing Transformation Area, Xuhui Binjiang Area and other important areas, passing through the two administrative districts of Minhang District and Xuhui District, with a total length of about 2863 kilometers with a total of 22 stations. At present, Jiangchuan East Road Station has been capped;Mojiang Road Station and Shanghai Stadium Station are in the process of structural reconstruction. Jinglian Road Station and Xupu Bridge Station are undergoing enclosure structure and foundation pit excavation construction. Wenjing Road Station, Huaning Road Station, Hujin Expressway Station, Zizhu High-tech Zone Station, Zilong Road Station, Chengjiang Road Station, Huajing Road Station, Longrui Road Station, Shanghai Botanical Garden Station are under enclosure structure construction, Minhang Development Zone Station Phase I Road Turnover has been completed, Dongchuan Road Station, Fanghe Road Station, Wujing North Station, Longqi Road Station, Longcao Road Station are in the pipeline relocation stage.
Chongming Line Project:The Chongming Line is the first project of Chongming's integrated two-wing traffic pattern and the first line of Shanghai Rail Transit's "14th Five-Year Plan", which will cross the Yangtze River twice in an all-underground form for the first time. The Chongming Line project starts from Pudong Jinji Road Station, passes through Changxing Island to Chenjia Town, Chongming Island, with 8 stations, 4 large and small shield conversion shafts, a depot and a parking lot, and has started 6 stations, of which the main structure of Gaobao Road Station has been capped, and 3 of the 4 large and small shield conversion shafts have been started. The South Port of the Cross-River Shield has completed a total of 46 kilometers (60% completion rate), and the North Port has completed a total of 36 kilometers (completion rate of 40%), all of which have entered the normal advancement section of the river bottom;The upward line of the small shield of Changxing Island Station-Changxing North Conversion Well has been completed by 99%, and the downward line has been completed by 100%.
