The ceramic filter is under the action of vacuum pressure, and the suspended particles are adsorbed on the surface of the ceramic filter plate to form a filter cake. The filtrate flows out through the ceramic filter plate to achieve the purpose of solid-liquid separation, and the outgoing filtrate reaches the vacuum barrel through the distribution head, and the filtrate in the vacuum tank can be processed and discharged by the drainage system.
The main factors affecting the operation rate of the ceramic filter are: pickling of the ceramic filter plate and failure time. So to increase its operating rate, it is necessary to reduce downtime.
Common failures include:
1) The vacuum degree is low and cannot meet the production requirements. The main reasons are the leakage of the vacuum pipeline, the lack of circulating water of the vacuum pump, the wear of the impeller of the vacuum pump, the wear of the distribution head, the damage of the ceramic filter plate, the failure to close the drain valve of the filtrate tank, and the low position of the slurry tank.
2) Low or fluctuating backwash water pressure. The main reason for this is that the backwash water piping system is clogged or leaking, and the distribution head is worn;
3) The filtrate bucket liquid is high. The main reasons are the wear of the impeller or casing of the circulating pump, the insufficient air pressure that causes the drain valve to fail to open or the drain valve itself fails, and the pipeline between the filtrate barrel and the circulating pump leaks
4) The ceramic filter plate cannot be cleaned during ultrasonic cleaning. The main reasons are the failure of the power box, the burning out of the power supply insurance, the aging of the line, the burning out of the transducer, the breakthrough of the ultrasonic box, and the low water level of the slurry tank
5) The metering pump works abnormally, and the backwash water is poured back into the acid barrel. The main reasons are wear and tear of the check valves that connect the backwash water pipes, such as the pump switch not opening, worn diaphragms, low frequency, acid pipes, and check valves.
