Recently, the people of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region officially approved the establishment of the Guangxi Pilot Free Trade Zone Coordinated Development Zone in Nanning, Qinzhou, Chongzuo, Beihai and Fangchenggang, and added 5 new members to the Guangxi Pilot Free Trade Zone.

The planned area of the Nanning Coordinated Development Zone is about 702 square kilometers, including Nanning Airport Economic Demonstration Zone, Nanning Eastern New Town and Nanning Yongning Emerging Industrial Park. It will focus on the development of cross-border finance, digital economy, airport logistics, aviation maintenance and manufacturing, electronic information, biomedicine, new energy vehicles and parts, new battery materials, fine chemicals and other industries.

The planned area of the Qinzhou Port Area Coordinated Development Zone is about 5825 square kilometers, including two blocks on the west and east wings. The west wing is located in the West Port District of Qinzhou Petrochemical Industrial Park (Jingu Area), and the east wing is located in Dalanping Logistics Processing Zone. It will focus on the development of green chemicals, new energy materials, forestry, pulp and paper and other industries.

The planned area of the Chongzuo Collaborative Development Zone is about 198 square kilometers, including the western industrial area and the eastern industrial area. The planned area of the Beihai Coordinated Development Zone is about 70 square kilometers, including three areas: Beihai Economic and Technological Development Zone, Tieshan Port (Linhai) Industrial Zone, and Beihai Tieshan Donggang Industrial Park in Longgang New Area. It will focus on the development of electronic information, petrochemical industry, equipment manufacturing, new materials, high-end paper, photovoltaic, energy and other industries.

The Fangchenggang Coordinated Development Zone has a planned area of about 40 square kilometers, including the Second Bridge Area of Dongxing Port, the New Area of High-speed Railway, the Chonglan Industrial Park Area, the Jiangping Industrial Park Area, and the Dongxing Border People's Mutual Market Area Area. It will focus on the development of textile and garment, electronic information, toys, medicine, modern food processing, furniture and new metal materials.
