Subsequently, Zhang Tingyu's qualification to "enjoy the Taimiao" was dismissed.
In the twentieth year of Qianlong, 84-year-old Zhang Tingyu died at home. In the end, Emperor Qianlong still obeyed the edict of Yongzheng and was destined to enjoy the Taimiao. "Zhang Tingyu in the imperial examination, diligent and cautious praise, careful of the edict, originally belonged to the old ministers, should be given preferential mercy, should still abide by the edict, worthy of the temple, in order to show our country reward the grand ceremony of hard work. ”
