Jeff Jo, a new era at Samsung Electronics Turkey, has been appointed president

Samsung Electronics Turkey has made significant changes to its management team and appointed Jeff Jo as president. With 25 years of experience and a history of success at Samsung, Jeff Jo began his new role on December 11, 2023.

Jeff Jo began his career in 1997 in the Corporate Affairs Department at Samsung Electronics' Korea headquarters. After working in the mobile foreign sales department in 2004, he served as the mobile business unit manager in Thailand and Australia from 2009 to 2014. Jo was named President of Mobile Retail Operations in 2017 and has taken significant steps in improving operations and customer experience in the retail industry.

Jo was appointed President of Samsung Electronics Canada in 2019 and has had significant success in improving efficiency and market share in the North American market. He was appointed President of the Mobile Experience Retail Group in 2021 and played a key role in setting the strategic direction of the company.

Jeff Jo emphasized that Turkey is a market with great potential for Samsung. Jo sees 2024 as an important turning point, believing that Samsung will lead the industry with its innovative solutions and AI-integrated products. As AI becomes more deeply integrated into our lives, the smart device ecosystem will undergo a radical transformation. Jo noted that Samsung is an important part of this transformation.

Jeff Jo is also concerned about Turkey's young population structure. Samsung aims to provide social benefits by empowering young people in Turkey in technology and sustainability through CSR initiatives such as "Innovation Campus" and "Solving Tomorrow". These programs aim to contribute to the development of society by increasing young people's access to technologies that will shape the future.
