Recently, according to JMC Ford's official disclosure, the Ford Ranger Ranger is scheduled to be officially launched on December 20. The Ford Ranger debuted its 1st Edition limited edition at the Guangzhou Auto Show in November 2023 and opened pre-orders for 26480,000 to 26880,000 yuan, limited to 800 vehicles. Pre-orders have also started for all Ranger models, with the ** range between 15880,000 with 24080,000 yuan.
Born in 2021, this latest fifth-generation Ranger is based on Ford's latest global midsize pickup platform. The exterior design of the 1st Edition Limited Edition is very aggressive, with a honeycomb grille combined with a black horizontal trim strip in the same colour as the body, marking the identity of the first edition model. The side is also designed with a unique "1st Edition" latte and is equipped with stock side steps, wading hoses, all-terrain tires and anti-slip rims.
Inside, the 1st Edition adds orange stitching and exclusive logos to accentuate details such as the air conditioning vents and door trims. In terms of configuration, the vehicle is equipped with 123-inch digital instrument cluster and large vertical center display.
The Ranger Launch Edition is packed with technology, including wireless Apple CarPlay connectivity, voice control, gesture recognition, and OTA remote upgrades. It is equipped with 30 sensors, a top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, 12G+128G large-capacity memory, a CDC domain controller, and a DMS perception camera, bringing L2 autonomous driving assistance functions, supporting functions including adaptive cruise control and automatic lane change overtaking.
In terms of power, the new car offers 23t gasoline turbocharged engine and 2A 3-ton turbodiesel engine is available as an option, both mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The petrol version has a maximum power of 190 kW and a peak torque of 450 Nm;The diesel version has a maximum power of 137 kW and a maximum torque of 470 Nm.
