Reporting to the leader is a necessary part of the work within the system, but getting along well with the leader does not mean that you can talk about everything. In practice, there are some things that need special attention, otherwise it may cause unnecessary trouble.
First of all, don't judge "how someone is" lightly. In the work of the system, interpersonal relationships are complicated, and your comments on others are likely to be heard by the leader and affect the leader's impression of you.
Therefore, do not express your opinion of a certain person, especially a negative one, in front of the leader. If you have an opinion about someone, you can express it in other ways, but be careful with the wording and don't jump to conclusions.
Secondly, don't arbitrarily evaluate "how is the unit" in front of the leader. Each unit has its own problems, and there is no absolute fairness in the unit. If you are dissatisfied with the work assignment of the unit and simply blame the unit for the problem, it will show your immaturity and lack of overall vision.
In front of the leader, you should consider the nature and solution of the problem from the perspective of the overall situation, rather than evaluating the quality of the unit itself.
Finally, don't just pass on "what others say". Other people's statements do not represent truth or facts, and sometimes they are just one-sided or negative opinions. If you easily relay what others are saying to the leader, it may cause the leader to be suspicious and dissatisfied.
Therefore, you should learn to distinguish between truth and falsehood, do not easily believe the words of others, and do not easily convey the words of others to the leader.
Working within the system requires us to maintain an objective, impartial and rational mindset, and not to make statements or spread negative remarks about others.
We should abide by the rules, understand the reason, and get along with the leaders with an objective, fair and rational attitude, so that we can go further and more stable in the system.
