Recently, the 2024 new energy vehicle purchase tax reduction and exemption policy has come out, and the "threshold" has been raised again. This means that technological innovation and product innovation play an increasingly important role in the new energy vehicle market. On December 19, BYD held the "More than Fast, All-round Evolution - BYD All-Scene Efficient Charging Technology Communication Meeting" in Beijing, which showed BYD's efforts and strength to build an all-round charging system in advance.
At present, the process of new energy in the automotive industry is accelerating significantly. For users of new energy vehicles, energy replenishment is an important factor affecting the user experience. In the early stage of the development of new energy vehicles, the industry is generally faced with three nos: one no charging technology, two no charging infrastructure, and three no charging standards. Nowadays, although battery swapping can effectively reduce the cost of car purchase and alleviate range anxiety, the pure electric supercharging mode has a small investment and simple promotion, which can greatly solve the user's energy supplement anxiety.
To this end, BYD first broke through the charging technology and allowed users to enjoy the leap in charging experience. In order to break through the technical ceilings of power, battery life, charging and other aspects, it is imperative to make technological breakthroughs in the high-voltage of electric vehicles. BYD took the lead in achieving a breakthrough in 2015 with the world's first 800V high-voltage platform for passenger cars. In fact, this technology has been installed on models such as Qin EV (2015 model) and Tang DM (2015 model) for a long time, and old users who have used it are sure to know about it.
The 800V high-voltage platform solves the constraints of power range, but the charging voltage still greatly restricts the charging efficiency. To this end, BYD pioneered the world's first step-up charging technology, which is suitable for low-voltage piles below 500V. In this way, the problem of charging voltage is also solved.
After the 800V high-voltage platform and step-up charging technology are solved, most of the fast charging piles are still not charged fast enough. How to fix it?BYD's world's first dual-gun overcharging technology for passenger cars turns public fast charging piles into supercharging piles in seconds. Taking the DENZA N7 as an example, the maximum power of dual-gun overcharging can reach 230kW, and the public fast charging pile can be charged for 350 kilometers in 15 minutes. At present, only 2% of public supercharging piles with currents exceeding 300A are available, while fast charging piles are widely used. BYD's technology allows you to elegantly use fast charging piles to replenish energy, but the efficiency is close to that of supercharging piles.
Recently, new energy users in the northern region have complained that many car owners not only can't open the door, but also can't charge well. If you are a BYD owner, then you are happy. BYD's world's first full-scene intelligent pulse self-heating technology can be quickly charged in the extreme cold in the north. Under the extremely cold condition of -30, the heating rate of the DENZA N7 is increased by 230% compared with the traditional solution, and the full battery charging time is reduced by 30%. BYD's technology makes car lovers in the northern region call it really fragrant.
Written at the end: With 20 years of technical accumulation and profound skills, BYD has a high probability of achieving sales of 3 million vehicles this year. With the improvement of performance, cruising range, charging speed and convenience, more consumers will choose new energy vehicles. BYD has advanced research and development, built a charging technology system that is more in line with the current national conditions, and continuously upgraded the user's full-scene charging experience, which will attract more consumers to buy in the future.
