On November 27, 2023, Royal Caribbean International Post**'s Icon of the Seas was officially delivered from the Meyer Turku shipyard in Finland. This meant that the Post Division took over the responsibility of the giant ship, and the ship officially became part of the fleet. The Icon of the Seas is now the world's largest cruise ship, surpassing the Wonder of the Seas, also operated by the same postal company.
The Landmark of the Seas is the first cruise ship of its kind and the first Royal Caribbean International Post** vessel to use liquefied natural gas (LNG) and fuel cell technology, as part of the company's march towards a clean energy future. The gigantic ship brings a host of new innovations and features to the industry in 8 areas, including 6 record-breaking slides, the first offshore pool bar, the first suspended infinity pool, an en-suite sun deck, a breathtaking "aquadome" style hotel venue, a 3-story family townhouse, and more than 40 ways to eat and drink.
More than 40 ways to eat, drink, and have fun are promised on board, many of which are included in the cruise fare. With 20 decks and 8 communities to explore, the idea is to cater to all types of vacationers, from areas dedicated to young families to **-only spaces. For example, Royal Caribbean International's first dueling piano bar, you name it. There are 28 different types of accommodations, with more categories for families, more sea-view layouts, and more space for group travelers. According to the postal department, this is the longest frame it has been working on to "designing the perfect base".
