Causes and troubleshooting methods of Carter loader steering system failure
First, the turn is heavy.
1.Cause of the failure.
a.The oil level of the hydraulic tank is too low;
b.Poor sealing of the inlet pipe of the hydraulic oil pump, allowing air to enter the hydraulic system;
c.The filter element of the hydraulic oil pump is clogged;
d.Hydraulic oil pump seal ring is damaged;
e.Poor meshing of the main and driven gears of the hydraulic oil pump;
f.Low pressure in the hydraulic system;
g.Steering gear safety valve failure;
h.The piston cylinder of the steering gear is severely worn;
i.The piston rod seal of the steering gear is damaged.
2.Troubleshooting.
a.Fill the hydraulic oil tank with hydraulic oil to the specified position;
b.Replace the hydraulic oil pump with poor inlet pipe sealing;
c.Wash or replace the filters;
d.Replace the sealing ring;
e.Adjust the meshing clearance of the main and driven gears to the specified value
f.Check and adjust the hydraulic system pressure to the specified value;
g.Replace the safety valve;
h.Replace the piston cylinder assembly;
i.Replace the piston rod seal.
Second, the steering is not effective.
1.Cause of the failure.
a.The piston cylinder of the steering gear is severely worn;
b.The piston rod seal of the steering gear is damaged.
c.Steering gear safety valve failure;
d.Low pressure in the hydraulic system;
e.The inlet and outlet pipe joints of the steering gear are loose;
f.Oil leakage from the steering gear inlet pipe.
2.Troubleshooting.
a.Replace the piston cylinder assembly;
b.Replace the piston rod seal.
c.Replace the safety valve;
d.Adjust the hydraulic system pressure to the specified value;
e.Tighten the inlet and outlet pipe joints;
f.Replace the inlet pipe seals.
