Many enterprises realize the importance of process management from different channels, and it is not feasible to quickly establish an effective, feasible process management system that can produce value immediately and bring efficiency improvement without considering the company's own situation. With the development of process management, the in-depth understanding of process management in domestic enterprises, as well as the in-depth study of process management theory and practice, I personally believe that the maturity of process management within enterprises is different, and the demand for process management is also different.
The judgment of the maturity of enterprise process management can be analyzed from five levels: concept, technology, organization, system and mechanism.
At the concept level, whether the enterprise has introduced the concept of process management. Whether the employees, especially the middle and senior managers, have the awareness of process management and the willingness to manage the process is the most important foundation and guarantee for the implementation of process management.
At the technical level, whether the enterprise has introduced the tools and methods of process management, and whether it can use process management tools to sort out the business process and management support process of the enterprise, make it explicit and written, so that more experience and employees can recognize, understand and follow the company's existing processes.
At the organizational level, whether the enterprise has set up corresponding organizations or positions to manage the process and ensure the feasibility, implementation rate and applicability of the enterprise's process.
At the system level, whether the enterprise process has established a systematic, three-dimensional and comprehensive process system, and whether the process system and operation system are integrated to ensure and support the realization of the enterprise's operational goals.
At the mechanism level, whether the enterprise has established a long-term mechanism for process management, and whether it matches process management with enterprise development strategy, organizational management and management change.
Although the juxtaposition of these five dimensions exists, it is more of a progressive relationship.
