According to a report by MacRumors, Apple plans to add MagSafe charging support to the iPad Pro to be launched next year.
The news comes from the company that makes magnets for Apple in the Apple chain, and although it has not yet been officially confirmed, the change has attracted a lot of attention.
Back in 2021, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman revealed that Apple was considering equipping the 2022 iPad Pro lineup with a glass back for wireless charging, and highlighted that testing of the MagSafe system was underway. However, it's a shame that Apple's iPad Pro launched in 2022 doesn't have wireless charging, a glass back, or significant design changes.
It was previously reported that Apple plans to launch 11The 1-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro, these** will have a new exterior design and are expected to support MagSafe charging. However, the industry view is that it is less likely that the entire back will be made of glass, as doing so will increase the weight of the product and reduce the durability of the product. As a result, there is widespread speculation that Apple may design a round hole in the middle to support MagSafe wireless charging, while the other areas will continue to use different materials.
