Confucius, Huineng, and Lao Tzu are known as the "Three Great Sages of the East", representing Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism respectively.
Huineng (638-713), the sixth ancestor of Zen Buddhism, was the founder of Chinese Zen Buddhism. His surname was Lu, originally from Fanyang (now Zhuozhou, Hebei Province), he lost his father when he was three years old, and moved to Nanhai (now Guangdong) with his mother. Due to the decline of his family, he and his mother made a living by chopping wood and hunting, and he was illiterate and illiterate.
After Master Huineng became enlightened, he said a famous sentence that can be called immortal in the history of mankind:
All ten thousand laws are inseparable from their own nature.
When the period is self-nature, the nature is self-pure;
When the self-nature is not born and destroyed;
When the self-nature is self-sufficient;
When the self-nature is not shaken;
When the self-nature is in the future, it can give birth to ten thousand laws.
So, how to understand this "sexuality" is something I have been looking for for a long time. Today, when I was reading the book "Notes on the Observation of Internal Evidence", I read the relevant chapter of "Life Science in Ancient China - The Science of Life", which I excerpt and share with my friends.
The core question: How to understand life?
The science of life is an ancient science that studies the nature of human life.
It is the study of how a person and the entire human race can transcend their own lives and shortcomings, extend their lives indefinitely, cultivate their own morality, and make greater contributions to mankind by using the laws of the universe and nature, so that their lives can be sublimated.
Let humanity truly live a communist life;Do what saints do, become immortals and become Buddhas;Abandon the ego and achieve the greater self of mankind and the universe;Combining life science technology, cosmic nature, morality, and the common good things of mankind is the science of life. A community with a shared future for mankind is the study of life.
According to the constitutive logic of Xi ancient Chinese, to explain the word life, I need to explain the words "sex" and "life" separately.
1. What is sex?
Genshin: Sex is the most important component of life, the eternal soul of a person. The dominance and representation of this part of sexuality was called Yuanshen in ancient China. Sex is definitely a special substance in life.
When it comes to this sex, does it mean the sex of **?To be sure, the sexuality of both men and women is included in the study of life.
My teacher said that only by handling love well can you learn the science of life. But the science of life is definitely not the science of **. The two are not the same thing.
Sex is first and foremost human nature, nature, nature, and truth, and it is only a small part of it.
The era of commodities and materialism exaggerates the **, which is also a disease of the times.
Our ancestors used a special "qualitative analysis method", which can also be said in general terms, that is, the method of internal evidence, according to the structural characteristics of human life, to divide human life into two parts: sex and life.
2. What is life?
Knowing God: This part of life, the main master and representative, is the mind, also known as knowing God.
People's internal organs, flesh and blood, meridians, and genes all belong to the category of life.
God is a miraculous true qi in the human body, and it is also the control system of living matter.
The Chinese character "人", the left hand represents human life, human body, essence and qi. The right one represents human nature, human spirit, etc.
The real Chinese medicine, "The Yellow Emperor's Neijing", first talks about the science of life, the natural avenue, not only the study of life.
Western medicine focuses on a part of numerology.
From this, I understand that "Zen Buddhism does not lie in words, but directly refers to the truth." The "sexuality" in "embodied self-sufficiency" refers to the direct access to the human primordial spirit, that is, what we call the soul or, more generally, everything about the gods.
Of course, what kind of connotation it is is is a question that can only be felt, but cannot be clearly explained. This may be the same as Zen Buddhism's "extraneous purpose, extraneous meaning".
What kind of state is the soul as an immaterial state?Perhaps we can only realize it when we wait for the "law" to prove it internally.
