From 1972 to 1974, archaeologists excavated the Mawangdui Han Tomb in Changsha. The Mawangdui Han Tomb is the tomb of the prime minister of Changsha in the Western Han Dynasty and the family of three of Hou Licang, with more than 3,000 precious cultural relics unearthed, and is one of the most significant archaeological discoveries in the world in the 20th century. As a window for people to understand the social landscape more than 2,000 years ago, it is known as the benchmark of historical civilization in the early Han Dynasty. This year, the Hunan Museum will hold a series of activities to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the discovery and excavation of the Mawangdui Han Tomb, and the "Digital Han Life" project is an important part of it.

According to reports, the project is based on the principle of "architecture systematization, data assetization, experience scenario, and ecological openness", and will allow the audience to immerse themselves in the culture of the Western Han Dynasty through digital technology and design creativity in a more interactive and interesting way, and strive to create a national digital museum benchmark, a nationally representative and advanced cultural digital case.

Every dimension of the Digital Han Life project is closely integrated with modern life. Li Wuwang saidIt is hoped that the space on the 4th floor of the Hunan Museum will be turned into a curatorial offline space, aggregating cultural consumption formats such as themed exhibitions, gift shops, and local food, and establishing a gathering place for Han cultural consumption in Changsha. Currently, the space has been designed.
